Dr. Gaylord and his team treat my husband. In the last 2 years we've been treated here and always, always get conscientious and dedicated care. Dr. G is a hoot and knows his stuff. The nursing staff is kind, engaging and on task. We never leave with doubt or question and, though we don't look forward to needing fistula/vas care, it's nice knowing we are working with the best team in the area.

My mother had a 1:30pm appointment for surgery pertaining her Dialysis Pump had stop working and was denied service because she drove. I explained to the Receptionist, Nurse and the Supervisor of the Clinic that myself (son) and my daughter would come and pick my mother up after I had gotten off at 4:30pm, at this time my daughter would be driving my mothers car home. They still refused my mothers surgery. I explained my mothers last Dialysis treatment was December 27, 2013 and they told me "it's nothing they can do about it she had to wait until January 2, 2014". I asked for the refusal in writing and was denied. I told the Supervisor I would be up there for a letter stating why this refusal occurred and explained to them the severity of this surgery. The Supervisor stated "if I come to the clinic she would call the Police". I left work early and arrived at the Clinic 2:45pm, the Wauwatosa Police were waiting. I confronted the Officer told him my name and explained. While talking the Dispatch calls and states "805 n Mayfair Rd has called and the subjects at the door". The officer responded "he's not at the door, I'm talking to him at this time". The Facility Staff at the Clinic has never visually or physically had any contact with me at all, but since my mothers BLACK they assumed the first BLACK male they see would be her son.(WOW) If you VALUE your love ones I'd advice avoiding this facility because if a 65yr 85lbs. Grandmother with NO KIDNEYS is refused care, what else is going on!!!!!!!?????
