I don't know if Dr. Michael Kody is still there, but many years later after my shoulder repairs (both, a few years apart) they are as good as ever and I have tested the limits. He said it would turn out well and he was % correct.
If you want to feel like cattle being herded through, give them a shot. The front office needs to pull it together. They need to slow down they gave us three different times to show up and when we got there they said we were two hours early. They called my boyfriend by the doctors last name which was idiotic “Joe Stuart!? Are you Joe?” Bad vibes all the way around. Didn’t even consult after ordering the MRI just said schedule surgery! Not very reassuring. Felt very rushed and nothing was reassuring or personal we left.
I had a very serious complete hamstring tear. I was referred to this office, specifically to Dr. Soren Olson. When I went in for my appointment I saw his nurse, Jennifer Knigge. She was cold and she did nothing except tell me she had to talk to the doctor. She promised to call me as soon as she talked to him but neglected to do that. I had to call to ask what was happening. The only person who could be bothered to talk to me was the receptionist who told me the nurse told her to tell me that Dr. Olson wouldn't do the surgery. I asked why and she didn't know anything. She asked if I wanted the nurse to call me. I did eventually talk with her. She coldly told me the doctor just wouldn't do the surgery. No explanation. No concern. I never had any contact with the doctor. I'm now living the rest of my life without any hamstring muscles in one leg. The entire experience was terrible. Nobody showed the slightest bit of concern. I'm 68 years old and have had many, many experiences with doctors & practices. This was the worst. Go somewhere else if you want quality care.
I had 2 knee replacements. 1 done 10/24 and 1 last month 9/25. Dr Reichard and his team including David Baca were amazing throughout the whole process. Before surgery they explained the benefits and risks as well as what they were going to do during surgery. They explained what to expect post surgery and made clear that their team would be available to answer any questions or concerns that I might have. The receptionist's and nurses , the whole team were kind and helped make this whole process feel pleasant and assured. I highly recommend N.W. Orthopedics and Dr Reichard & his team.
I know having surgery is not the most optimal of circumstances, but the staff at Northwest Orthopedics were incredible. From reception, to the nurses, to anesthesia, to Dr. Padrta himself. I felt so well taken care of and truly had a wonderful experience!! Shout out to Nurse Marie and recovery nurse Skylar (I think!) for being so wonderful with their care!
