I received great care from the whole team. I like supporting local businesses that treat their staff very well. I frequently ask people how well they like their jobs and what it is that makes them like it. I asked several staff at NW Eyelid, all of whom said they loved their jobs. Some had been working there for several years. I noticed a lot of staff talking to each other about their families, lots of laughter, all while they paid attention to details. I was really impressed. One of the staff drew sharp distinctions between their former employer and their current one, clearly preferring NW Eyelid. My medical care was awesome, but what impressed me most was the level of passion and joy exhibited by the doctor and the staff.

Dr. Michels is the absolute best! I had some issues with both of my lower eyelids, that required a few surgeries. He was so attentive, caring, and forthright with me at every appointment. His surgical staff are just as amazing as he is. Recover time after the surgeries were minimal. I am so very pleased with the results. I highly recommend him!!!

Day 4 Im recovering quickly from this procedure without much swelling & only min bruising! Extremely pleased with Dr Broadbent’s light touch! I Highly recommend Dr Broadbent and his caring team. From the moment optometrist, Christine Vogel from Americas Best in Coeur D’Alene referred me each person I talked to and met was professional, kind, thorough and pleasant. Thank you Savanah for putting me at ease immediately & the extra cookies after. Also thanks to the receptionist, I forget her name, Christine, Steph and Candace who assisted Dr Broadbent were reassuring me along the way. My experience was excellent, I was comfortable and confident with the team & look forward to the benefits in a few weeks. Already Im having positive results. By following directions of ice every hr I only needed to take Tylenol 2xs. Today, the first morning I woke with a check in call from the office and I had no pain and have minimal swelling. Icing 3xs during the night made a difference. Thank you all~ PS how could I forget to thank Liberty? I did and now adding on to my review. She was reassuring, kind & attentive Nap Dr!

Dr. Michels and his staff went above and beyond helping me with my eyelid issue. My eyelid surgery was botched twice by a large eye clinic surgeon in Coeur d'Alene and thankfully, I was able to find Northwest Eyelid and Orbital specialist. As a former nurse, I recognize excellence in staff and surgeons immediately. Dr. Michaels was attentive, professional, comforting and most of all knowledgeable with my situation with my eyelid. Though the wait of 3 months was a bit daunting, (considering my eyelid was very very painful) Dr. Michaels made up for that with his surgical skills and calming bedside manner. The follow-up care was absolutely outstanding. I received three phone calls making sure that my eyelid was less painful the day after surgery and then another 2 weeks later got a phone call and then just a final phone call just to make sure there was no other needs from Dr. Michaels. Yes, the wait time isn't great, yet their courteous and gentle approach to such a sensitive medical situation more than made up for it!

Dr Michels removed a spot on my eyelid on my first appointment and did a fantastic job, he took the time to explained all my options I decided to have the spot removed, I could not be happier with the results, my eyelid is black and blue right now but I am sure it will heal up just fine.
