In September I had a mole removed from my face by Dr. Jennifer Reichel. When the topic of insurance was broached, I let her know I was paying out of pocket. When price quoted was mentioned, she was visibly upset tearing through paperwork and whispering to her assistant. When I went back for a check up I was told I had a staph infection. I noticed an infection when I took off the bandage for the first time, it was slight so I wasn't overly concerned. At the check up, Jennifer never even checked in on me. But her assistant told me they would send a sample from the infection to make sure it wasn't serious. I was not told a price for this nor told I would be responsible for the cost. When I received an additional bill from Lab Corp I had no idea what it was for. I immediately called Lab Corp and was given nothing but attitude. I proceeded to follow up with Frontier Dermatology for weeks with phone calls and emails; their front desk, billing, and office manager-who left the company in the middle of this saga-had no idea what the bill was for. After now months of follow up on my part, I found it was for the staph infection, from the procedure being tested. I do not recommend going to Jennifer Reichel or Frontier Dermatology. I have holes in my face from the stitches and tons of scar tissue making the area the mole was removed very bumpy. Not to mention, that area is still really red, months later, from the staph infection. Giving me a staph infection and thinking I should pay for it to be tested is crazy. Not to mention the customer service was non existent. Lastly, they recommend Biocorneum, scar treatment which I purchased 10g for $55 from them. You can buy 20g for $60 online, free shipping from the manufacturer. Go anywhere but here.

I’ve been going to the clinic for almost 10 years and it has been consistently excellent since the start. I am a loyal patient of nurse injector Mary Gerlitz, having gotten filler, Botox, and laser treatments from her. Mary takes time to listen and discuss what I’m hoping to achieve with injections. She makes great recommendations but is not pushy and doesn’t overdo it with filler. She does what is right for me and my look. Her technique is gentle and quick. I’m very happy with my results from Mary Gerlitz and I’d highly recommend her to anyone looking for a skilled injector.

Dr. Lamar is knowledgeable and qualified. I came in to have several skin bumps removed and chose to cauterize them all at once. I raised concern during the visit that the bumps between my eyebrows—the main area of concern—did not appear treated, but I was told they had been. Weeks later, several were still present. After weeks of repeated calls, emails, and patient portal messages, I was finally told that a follow-up would require another paid visit. My request was simply for her to look at the results and either quickly treat the remaining bumps or confirm that nothing more could be done. While I understand results aren’t guaranteed, there was no discussion that some areas might not be fully treated or would require an additional consultation and fee. What I was asking for was reasonable and straightforward.

She tailors every treatment to your skin type & I always leave glowing.
