The provider/ARNP Olga was judgmental, uninformed about my medical history despite having access to my records, and made multiple comments about my weight when that had nothing to do with the reason for my visit. Repeatedly stated I was an insulin dependent diabetic after I told her twice I am not. As a GI doc she did not know anything about the nausea and vomiting meds my oncologist prescribed and after googling the med, told me that that’s not for vomiting (it is, off label, GI should know that!). Zero confidence in her ability to provide patients with quality care.
Do not waste your time seeking treatment at this facility. The doctors do not care for people at all. I went two years ago, met with a male doctor. He quickly dismissed me, without even much conversation or an exam, stating he couldn’t help me. My primary sent me BACK to them this year, as my same complaint is still unresolved. I requested a different doctor and was assigned to Dr. Mitchel (female). When I told her my history and previous attempt at seeking care with the previous doctor, she quickly said “oh if he couldn’t help you, I probably can’t either”. I pressed and insisted on care. Two procedures. It was a WASTE of time. They did not educate me on how to prepare for the procedure (didn’t even call to explain, I had to call them and was referred to their website). I did get confirmation of one issue I am having but no solution, just a dismissive comment of “oh, many people deal with this, it’s no big deal”. Dr. Mitchel is very rude. Absolutely no care for the patient. I canceled my follow up appointments and will never consider treatment at this location again. I gave two stars just because the front desk staff is very friendly. Their only saving grace. However, they were supposed to follow up with me after my procedure. They called. I was working. They left no message and never called again. Probably only deserve one star.
My son went to see Dr. Mitchell for an endoscopy after seeing a PA for many issues, nausea, vomiting, weight loss, diarrhea, constipation, unable to eat more than a few bites, and much more. Dr. Mitchell has by far the worst bedside manner of any provider we've ever seen, and my son has had many medical issues. She was curt, did not once address my questions, walked out of the room while I was in the middle of asking a question, told me that her "job" was to do the endoscopy so I'd need to ask his "provider" any of my questions. After the procedure she addressed my son only, even though he was clearly not completely cognizant due to the conscious sedation he'd received. When the nurse came in after her he was absolutely not surprised with my issues and questions as clearly this was not the first time a patient had said something similar. The initial result was an ulcer and then she took several biopsies. About a week later we get a message through the portal stating he does not have h-pylori, nothing on the other biopsies. We sent a message asking and the response was to send us a copy of the report. This was followed later with a note from the nurse saying she'd released the report and the doc said everything was negative. No, next steps, no how's the medication working, nothing. Needless to say I will be switching my son to a different provider.
I'm so upset that I came to this clinic and was given an appointment by Michael Lee M.D. I normally had an appointment with a gastroenterologist doctor at Washington Gastroenterology Federalway clinic on October 13th, but they called me and said no doctor would be available at that day, so they wanted to reschedule the appointment. I'd been waiting for this appointment for two weeks, and I told them I couldn't wait. So they told me there was an availability at their Wagi Sunrise Clinic in Puyallup on October 7th. I was in serious condition and asked to see an M.D. I'd had exteremly stomach pain and diarrhea for a month. Urgent Care tested positive for Shiga toxin on September 25th. I'd had the diarrhea for three weeks, but then, at the beginning of October, the diarrhea went away, but the stomach pain was continue. Urgent Care told me that I needed to see a gastroenterologist. I made an appointment with this clinic, and when I arrived, they charged me $270, which I paid for myself because I don't have insurance. The assistant asked me a lot of questions about my condition and I answered. Then Michael Lee M.D. came and saw me for 5-6 minutes. He said there was nothing he could do. He said it was due to Shiga toxin. But I told him my diarrhea had stopped a week ago, and no matter what I ate, my stomach wouldn't digest it, and I was vomiting in severe pain. When the diarrhea stopped, I knew the Shiga toxin had passed, and since my stomach wasn't digesting what I was eating, I was worried there might be a serious stomach problem and requested an endoscopy. But the doctor told me it wasn't necessary and sent me away. 0n 10th October, I had to go to the emergency room because I had severe stomach pain, diarrhea, and low blood pressure. They told me I absolutely needed an endoscopy. They were very surprised when I told them I'd seen a gastroenterologist and they didn't see any need for one. So, in the end, I paid them $270 to just listen to me at this clinic, and I can't believe it. And they also sent me a piece of paper called an Patient Clinical Summary by mail, as if they were making fun of me. The paper only listed what I told them. Nothing else. Because they didn't prescribe any treatment, any medication, and they didn't even raise any suspicions. A doctor should care about a patient with a serious complaint! They should take them seriously! A terrible doctor, a terrible clinic. He was the worst doctor I have ever seen in my life and they did not deserve the money I paid. They stole my time and made me come there an hour away driving while I was sick and in the end it was a big NOTHING!!!
Fantastic communication and assistance that truly makes you feel like your care as a patient is a top priority. I had the pleasure of working with Andora A. Throughout the process she was incredibly pleasant, understanding, and offered all the help and information I was looking for! Thanks again for the help and care!
