I just had a vasectomy with Dr. Nguyen. For obvious reasons I was a little nervous going into it (I have not had any sort of surgery before). He made the experience as least awkward as it could possibly be. I can't believe that 2 hours later I am was back home and done. I was beyond impressed with how efficient he was, and appreciated his humor and banter to make what could be a very unpleasant experience, honestly....a pretty solid Thursday when I factor in I got to take the day off of work. Highly recommend Dr. Nguyen.

It is with pleasure to share my appreciation and respect for the outstanding medical guidance and care I have received from Dr. Mitchell Nguyen at Pacific Northwest Urology Specialists. Like many patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia, I experienced the progressive course of care by multiple physicians over many years from “watchful waiting” through medical management as the disease progressed. Thankfully, at the time it was appropriate for surgical intervention I was introduced to Dr. Nguyen. Upon meeting him I was immediately impressed by his medical education and extensive surgical experience. He clearly and concisely explained the surgical options available to me as well as the risks and benefits of each type of procedure. He followed by providing me with his recommendation, his rationale, and why it would likely provide the most positive outcome. Shortly thereafter, I underwent a very successful surgery at his hand. My quick course of recovery was exactly as he anticipated, experienced no complications, and was amazingly comfortable throughout the entire process. This place really needs to get it together. Writing for my partner. The message we got about surgery told us to go to a location an hour away that doesn’t exist anymore. No one told us so morning of we’re on hold for 40 minutes just trying to figure out where we’re going. Then we find out that the new location doesn’t have all the equipment yet and they won’t have the medication for surgery anxiety during the procedure. Not sure why they’re scheduling surgery when they aren’t fully provisioned yet. The doctor (Reznicek) also didn’t use the correct gender pronoun for my partner during surgery and scoffed at the paperwork that had her gender on it at the initial consult. There might be other doctors that are more respectful but I don’t recommend this doctor for queer/trans people.

I am writing on behalf of my husband who was recently referred to Pacific Northwest Urology Specialists to follow up a high PSA. He was treated so professionally! Each staff member and caregiver from the Receptionist, Heather, to the surgeon, Dr. Daniel G. Reznicek was kind, considerate and knowledgeable. We were put at ease that his biopsy was benign and commented how special it was that Dr. Reznicek called us personally. We highly recommend receiving care from these outstanding doctors and nurses.
