Sharing my good experience with SharpeVision to help those considering vision correction surgery with EVO ICL. - had free initial consult with Dr. Sharpe. Did not require dilation, so I was able to drive myself to & from appointment. The medical assistants took my measurements, then Dr. Sharpe repeated some measurements & told me I was a candidate for both lasik and EVO ICL, although he highly recommend EVO ICL given that it is “reversible” and has less risk of eye dry. He had done EVO ICL on his son & planning to do for his daughter. Given that I had a thick cornea & decently sized anterior chamber & tend to have dry eyes w contact usage, I went with EVO ICL. My original vision was about -5 in both eyes with astigmatism. - tbh, I went to Pacific Laser institute in bellevue to get a second opinion, because it seemed like their evaluation process was lengthier & required dilation, but upon asking more q’s it seems like Dr. Sharpe had more advanced surgery equipment & was the one primarily performing the surgeries, so I went with Dr. Sharpe. - I scheduled my EVO ICL surgery for 12/19/25 in the morning. I feel like the communication for prep was a little spotty, but they did let me know I did not have to worry about picking up any post-op meds or anything, they would have it ready for me at the office, which was awesome. Remember to stop wearing your soft contact lenses a few days before & to bring a driver. - from reviews that I read before, they used to require a eye pressure check-up a few hours later the day of surgery, but THEY NO LONGER DO THIS :) bc the newer models of implantable contact lenses have an opening, which allows better aqueous flow of eye & thus less risk of increased eye pressure. This is great news, bc you do not have to return for same day checkup. - Day of Surgery Timeline: - checked in around 9:30am for my 9:45 appt - front desk went over paperwork with me, I opted in for the lifetime insurance in case I wanted additional lasik correction in the future. I paid $6300 total for both eyes (end of year special). - shortly after, a staff member took me & my husband back to exam room where they repeated some measurements, gave me bag of essentials including medicated eye drops, lubricating eye drops, sunglasses. They gave me the Valium which kicked in pretty quickly & helped me feel calm. The room has a TV broadcasting the surgery, so my hubby was able to watch and record the surgery which was super cool. Dr. Sharpe also checked in on me before the surgery which was very appreciated! - They walked me into surgical room & laid me on table. Dr. Sharpe and his team are incredibly gentle & will talk you through every step! The entire procedure felt like it was only 10minutes and was PAINLESS. There’s some pressure as he inserts the lens, but not bad. Tbh the most painful part was removing the tape off my face 😝 so you know it was quite easy to tolerate. they put a lot of numbing eye drops so your vision will be blurry & you wont feel anxious bc you cant see much happening. - immediately afterwards I could tell my vision was already dramatically improved. I was at the office for only about 2ish hours, left slightly before noontime. I was well enough to be able to eat out with my husband afterwards. I did it on Friday, had the weekend to rest, and was back to work on Monday. Over the next 2ish weeks, vision & slight dry eye & halos continued to improve. - i was able to get lash lift after my 2 weeks FU was wnl. - I had my 1-month follow up today on 2/9/26 (altho it’s more like 6 weeks from surgery) and my eyesight is 20/15. The halos have improved a lot, I still have a little, but I don’t mind at all. I am slightly more sensitive to bright light than before, but again, the pros DEFINITELY outweigh any of these minor things. Moreover, it seems like these minor things continue to improve. :) Hope this review helps those who are good candidates and on the fence about EVO ICL! It was life-changing for me not to have to wear contacts and glasses anymore. Thank you Dr. Sharpe & team, you guys are great!

Was so scared, but they made it so easy to have the procedure done. They talk to you, tell you everything. And sedate you with a Lil pill. And when I woke up I was like brand new!! I could see great!, no more blurry, stars, I was so happy. I give them a 5 only because there wasn't 10! But I would so give them 20 stars!! Great job Dr & Staff!

I recently had cataract and lens enhancement surgery and was so impressed with the staff, doctor and facility. The process was seamless, which helped to comfort my nerves. Dr Shields and his nursing staff explained the process every step of the way. They were professional and caring. If you are thinking about having the procedure, I highly recommend this facility. My eyesight enhancement is a miracle. Thank you Dr Shields and your entire team!!

It was a very quick and accurate decision. Very good. Everything was good, from the service to the follow-up, whether it was the doctor or the team. I was very impressed. I must say that this was a very quick decision because I had previously contacted other clinics in South Seattle that had good reviews, but the staff and service were very bad. So I decided not to go to that clinic because the staff's behavior made me not trust that clinic. And I decided to choose Sharprvision. It was the best choice. Finally, I would like to thank SharpeVision for making my vision perfect again. Thank you to all the doctors and staff at SharpeVision. And another thing I would like to tell anyone who wants to have LASIK surgery with perfect results, I highly recommend SharpeVision.

Excellent professional experience at Sharpe Vision! Dr. Sharpe is clearly passionate and excited to help people. I got the LASIK procedure in both eyes and the recovery process has been very good. Basically everything I've experienced was explained to me beforehand and all the appropriate recovery care was provided to me. Dr. Sharpe's demeanor and guidance during the procedure was also excellent. It was so fast, but he also clearly and confidently guided me through the whole thing. I felt constantly reassured and comfortable throughout. My results are great. Already I can see better than I did with my contacts. I had one eye with astigmatism and one eye without, but the procedure was straightforward for both.
