I cannot say enough about how great this facility was for my recent knee surgery. Yes, my surgeon was great. But this review is for the team of nurses that took care of me. I was so nervous and they were amazing and swift. The anesthesiologist was top-notch and humorous which made it the whole process a little less scary. (Thanks for helping this redhead make sure she stayed asleep!!) Shout out to my pre-op nurse Theresa, who is fantastic and lovely and I’m just so thankful to her for being such a kind human.
Exceptional service from the Front Desk to all the nurses and doctors. My six-year-old son went in for a procedure today and I honestly couldn’t have asked for better care. They reassured him, were friendly and sweet, and just overall seemed happy to be doing what they were doing. Highly highly recommend.
I had my gallbladder surgery yesterday. I will say that everyone in the facilty was very nice. I am thankful to have had such great doctor and a great surgical team.
The care from the front desk staff, nurses, and doctor was terrific - 10 stars. Couldn’t imagine better care. (“Fun” seems a weird way to describe it but the nurses were amazing.) The billing was 0 stars. The amount we were quoted for a colonoscopy was doubled to the penny without explanation, just people in billing going on and on about codes. No matter what I asked the answer was codes. (The doubled charge was first rejected by our insurance company. It was recoded and accepted.) A polyp was removed, which is frequently done, but literally double? So much for no surprise billing. Later, paying on line did not show the amount we owed — unlike any billing system by any other medical group encountered ever.
This is my first experience with Northern Virginia Surgery Center and my first colonoscopy so I was understandably nervous for my procedure. Everyone I encountered yesterday from the front desk staff, registration, pre-op, surgical team, to recovery etc treated me with such patience and kindness. A special thank you to Angela in pre-op, I truly appreciated her encouraging and upbeat demeanor, she put me at ease and made me feel as comfortable as possible. Lucille, Dominique, and Jonathan and Dr. Bayasi (the GI team) were timely, personable and professional, and last but not least Rory in recovery was super attentive and friendly. I wish I could remember the name of lady who wheeled me to my car because she was so caring and pleasant as well. I feel like a little kindness goes a long way for patients who are feeling scared and uneasy and your team understands this mission. THANK YOU
