I feel blessed to have been able to provide care to many patients after surgery. Doctors Bitner, Hicken, Higbee, Hoffman, Larson, Nelson, Peterson, Rowley, the PA's, nurses, and contract physical therapy providers do an excellent job to get people up and moving the day of major surgeries and the outcomes are favorable. Thanks for making a difference in my life!

Just had a procedure done today. The care was awesome; kind, personable and compassionate medical professionals made the experience “normal”. The facility was clean and comfortable. I was treated with dignity and respect. My ride.(spouse) was provided comfort as well. I would certainly choose this facility again if I ever had to have another joint replacement.

Not pleased at all! My daughter went to a foot doctor at alpine orthopedics, after consulting with the doctor we decided to move forward with surgery. Week or so later we received a phone call from advanced surgery center they set everything up including telling us what are out of pocket expenses would be, the day of surgery and we paid the out of pocket, my wife was reassured that we would not have to pay any more towards surgery. 8 months later we received an additional bill, we called the surgery center and after a long phone call they admitted to screwing up and said we only needed to pay 1/2 the bill they sent us, very disappointed with the billing service. We later found out they are not in our network for insurance like they told us originally. But the doctors office at alpine orthopedics is, why in the world did we have to go to the surgery center. Not happy at all!

I had my shoulder repaired here by Dr.Hickens in June. I had already met my deductible so I paid the full amount owed the day of my surgery. In Dec I got a call saying that I was being sent to collections from the surgical center because my insurance had sent me a check that I was supposed to bring into them. I had no idea that I was supposed to be getting a check as I had never got any statements. I was very frustrated at first, but after calling my insurance I had found out that they had sent the check to the wrong address, switching the East and South. I immediately called the surgical center to let them know what had happened and why I hadn’t received any statements or the check from my insurance. The lady on the phone was extremely patient with me and walked me through what I needed to do once the check got to the right address. It took a few weeks, but I finally received the check and took it into the receptionist. I was very relieved when she told me that they had never sent me to collections, because they had documented my calls with them and they knew that what had happened was not my fault. They could have very easily sent me to collections and blamed me for everything. The second I got that call regarding collections knew something was wrong. I always pay my medical bills. They believed me and were extremely patient while I figured everything out with my insurance company. Everyone that I talked to on the phone was so helpful and understanding. Although the situation was frustrating, the ladies on the phone gave me peace and assured me that they would do everything they could to help me and they did! I’m very please with the staff and the kindness they showed me.

My wife & I both have had to receive treatment here in the last week. Both times the staff was amazing. Aside from the fact that they called me & said if I could come in early they could get me in early but didn't, the staff are truly good people & are very professional yet personable. In particular, a nurse named Tara. Wonderful nurse!
