I had an excellent experience. I booked my Endoscopy here using ColonoscopyAssist, and everything went smoothly. I'd pre-paid, so no billing issues, at least not yet anyway. Every interaction with the staff was flawless. From check-in to the ride out in the wheelchair, everyone was professional, friendly, and on point. Even though this is clearly a high-volume outpatient center, I never once felt rushed or treated like a number. Dr. Johnson answered my questions, handled the procedure smoothly, and gave me full confidence in the care I was getting. I’d gladly recommend this place to friends and family for their procedures.
UPDATE: Bringing it down to one star. They KEEP sending me bills, despite that months have passed and I have paid all of the bills they have sent. They are sending me duplicate bills with "overdue" charges, but I have confirmed with my bank that they have cashed the checks I sent them. If this keeps up, I will report them for fraud. Best case scenario, their billing department is a total mess. ----- I want to leave a good review, but I can't in good conscience. The billing practices here are abhorrent. I have received about 7 bills so far from three different companies. They text, call, email, and snail mail me. Even when I think all the bills are paid, they reach out again with more bills. The first two people I spoke with at this office to verify the other companies could not do it -- they didn't know who the billers were. (The third person was able to verify the companies as working with SAGA and part of the procedure.) Almost all of the bills, no matter their format, had dead links. The texts were automated/bots so responding was worthless. If I called a company to verify them, they wouldn't verify themselves unless I gave private information first, which makes it pointless. And SAGA, this clinic, after I paid my bill in full, also sent me more bills. My credit card has refunds on it for what I don't know, and then more charges, as if they just don't know what they're doing. And I got a heads up on NONE of this when I scheduled the procedure. This is a billing shit show. Their billing office and billing arrangement are such a mess that I now tell people to stay away. If they were registered with the Better Business Bureau, I would have lodged a formal complaint. This is a good example of how NOT to setup your billing. I'm giving two stars instead of one because the doctor had good bedside manner and most of the staff were good. The office clerk, however, was leaving voice mails with very private information, breaking HIPAA.
The front desk personnel totally ignore you while they are chatting im not the only patient they also did it to several after me just let you stand there in front while you trying to get their attention to sign in and they looked at each other and one of them said are you gonna get that then laugh as if they dont make the patient just stand there for 7 mins waiting for them to get their attention to sign in, one has long flowy black hair and has significant weight on her the other one has long curly hair mix color flowy too and also has a significant weight on her oh yea this is literally today im now sitting waiting to be called..
My mother and I had our colonoscopies at this facility. As first-timers, we were nervous and anxious, but the staff here are truly angels. They put us at ease and made us feel safe. I highly recommend this facility. Even though we live an hour away, we will continue to come here because of how compassionate the staff is. Thank you, Dr. Johnson, and thank you to his staff for their wonderful care. ❤️
Excellent, friendly nurses and doctor (Joseph Johnson). They made the diagnostic exam easy to do. The facility is efficient and well maintained. My only quibble was that it was originally hard to schedule my procedure due to always being sent to voicemail. But I’ll definitely use this location for future procedures.
