My daughter had to have a minor eye lid procedure and the Ophthalmologist did it here. From moment we walked in to driving home, we had an overall amazing experience minus a little hiccup. The receptionist was thorough and very helpful. The hiccup was when we were called into pre-op - the male nurse was off putting and kept saying she needed to pee asap (yet I kept saying she just did prior to coming upstairs and they should have said she would be required to give urine because I could have made her wait) but then once she was in the bed another nurse took over. Nurse Rhonda was soooo amazing!! She was patient with my child knowing it was the 1st time having a procedure that she would be awake getting an IV. The procedure was quick - 30m TOPS, afterward the recovery nurse was Nurse Sara and she too was very kind and helping me navigate the outpatient process. Overall great experience with the doctor and anesthesiologist also. Would pick this place again if given the opportunity to choose a location for an outpatient procedure.
Cataract surgery. Had one eye done here at Christus and the other at another surgery center. Christus was superior in every way from start to finish, down to even better sunglasses for the trip home. All nurses were great, especially Victoria. After five weeks I still remember all their names (Erin in check-in, Victoria, Ivy and Sylvia because they were so outstanding. Can't remember any at the other place.
I want to thank all the nurses that took care of me yesterday at Pre-Op and also while I was getting surgery and after my recovery. Victoria in Pre-Op was the Most Sweet and Caring nurse ever! She truly went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable while I was waiting to get taken to surgery. There was 2 nurses who helped me to the bathroom but I don’t remember their names but they were also amazing! So was Megan! To the PA anesthesiologist and Rebecca and the Nurse I had while in surgery thank you so much! Also to my Recovery Nurse Karen Thank you so much for the amazing care I received from all of you ladies!!!! If you or your loved one are getting a surgery here trust me everyone who took care of me did a Phenomenal job their bedside manner is Truly Amazing!!!!
I had two experiences at Christus Santa Rosa Ambulatory Surgery Center … it was a wonderful experience All employees were polite, happy to help the patients and families! It is a real shame they are not allowed to have signs and it makes it very hard to find the Surgery Center! Baptist Hospital is not a very good neighbor. Macy’s and Penny’s sell like merchandise and get along side by side. Grow up people!
I needed to drop a friend off for some outpatient surgery at this surgery center. Everything was very well organized. All the preliminary paperwork was completed prior to arrival, and upon arrival, it was nothing more than validating all the paperwork submitted. He was taken back for pre-op prep prior to his scheduled time, and there is a board advising the status of each patient (done without exposing any PII data). His procedure was performed within the expected time frame, and his post-op process was just as seemless and very good. I definitely would recommend anyone needing outpatient surgery to schedule it here. The toughest part with this location is trying to find parking because the parking is shared with the hospital. There is parking at the entryway, in the rear in a parking garage, or up and across the street in a surface lot. I hope that if you visit, your experience is as good as mine.
