I had a very good experience in the Methodist Ambulatory Surgery Center. First of all the place was nice and clean. I did a surgery with Dr Trussell which he was great and the best surgeon that I have ever met FANTASTIC PHYSICIAN. Great and very pleasant experience. Front desk Patty was very nice, very smooth check in. The nurses were awesome and great, in taking care of me and discussing everything starting with Abbie, Kim, Justin and Griselda. The anesthesia team was also very good ( Dr Carter and there is another Doctor that I forgot his name, sorry). I am very thankful for each one of them. Highly recommended for this place and especially for Dr Trussell and his great team. Thank you so much everyone.
I have had two surgeries now at this ACS. And both times I have overpaid by thousands of dollars that they requested upfront before I could have surgery. I then find out through my insurance, months later, that the ACS owes me thousands of dollars back… but they never reached out and no one ever contacted me about it. Once I complained and asked for a refund, it didn’t go anywhere and it was never escalated up to take care of the issue. Each time they wait for me to threaten the Better Business Bureau before they give me a refund, after blaming it on their third party counterpart who isn’t even in the US. Normally I can be patient to receive a refund. But when it’s thousands of dollars that I had to investigate for myself, I feel like they’re robbing me blind. I escalated this up to, which is just a voicemail. No one calls you back there either. Beware of using them!!
Review for Methodist Mansfield Ambulatory Surgery Center I recently contacted Methodist Mansfield Ambulatory Surgery Center to request copies of my medical records, and unfortunately, my experience with the receptionist, Patty, was very disappointing. From the beginning of the call, Patty’s tone was rude, short, and dismissive. When I tried to clarify my request, she responded in a condescending manner, and at one point, I even heard an audible sigh, as if my call were an inconvenience to her. This made what should have been a simple, routine request feel uncomfortable and unnecessarily stressful. As a patient simply trying to obtain my medical information, I expected professionalism and courtesy. While I appreciate the medical care I’ve received at Methodist Mansfield, the front-desk experience sets the tone for the entire facility, and unfortunately, this interaction reflected poorly on their commitment to patient respect and communication. I hope management addresses this issue promptly and ensures staff receive proper training in customer service, professionalism, and patient sensitivity moving forward.
MY whole experience was great. I was in for knee reconstruction surgery with Dr. Harris (FANTASTIC doctor) and everyone from Patty to the nurses and my doctor were fantastic. I filled out all the patient forms before my operation online which expedited the check-in process. They took great care of me in Pre-op and Post-op as well. I would highly suggest getting your surgery here!
Wonderful experience in the surgical center. Everyone was very friendly, calming and professional. Dale, in the recovery room, was patient and caring while I had a difficult time standing/sitting up. The whole experience would have been a 5 star except that Patty, the front receptionist, was very cold and acted as if my questions were irrelevant and irritating to her. Not a good first impression walking in, at all.
