Dr. Kravitz saved my life. Literally. For years I thought I had dry eye and went from eye doctor to eye doctor to get relief eye drops. When he saw my eye, he asked me if I hear whoosing in my ear, and I told him I had had that for several years. He then diagnosed that I most likely had a carotid fistula behind my eye in the brain and ordered an MRI. The diagnosis confirmed the fistula and called for emergency hospitalization and brain surgery before the veins burst. I had the surgery this month, and it was successful, and caught just in time. After all the other eye doctors who misdiagnosed me, I am so grateful for this smart, ophthalmologist who saved my life. Thank you dear Dr. Kravitz.
I had really high hopes for this Dr. especially after our appointment. My husband suffered sudden vision loss. They were fast to get us in & diagnose the issue. Sent him off to have cardiovascular test done. that was 2 weeks ago. For whatever reason the Dr has still not requested the results. My husband has been trying to get a hold of someone about getting in for new prescription for contacts/glasses left SEVERAL voicemails. Radio silence. Very disappointling for what they made seem like a very serious issue he was having. So not really sure why he can't have any of his concerns addressed. I would really like to think patient care is a high priority. But so far we have been left to feel as if we are in the dark. **Edit instead of a generic reply to save face. I would appreciate a phone call. Nothing was ever discussed about a cardiologist taking over. What was discussed was getting the results then depending on what those said then seeing a cardiologist. Still haven't had my other concerns addressed. You have my number. Feel free to return any of the many messages left already.
My special needs sister and I have been patients of center for Sight for three years. Up until yesterday we have always had a good experience at our appointments. My sister had a swollen red eye lid for two days so I called to get it checked. When we arrived there was no one in the waiting room. I was thankful that we wouldn’t be delayed however tat was not the case at all. We were called and put in a room for a half hour. The eye assistant started to perform an eye examination thinking we were there for an annual eye exam. I let her know we weren’t there for an annual eye appointment which is due in July. That we were there for the doctor to examine her eye lid which was swollen and red. We were in that room for 30 minutes and then the assistant comes in and states we have to be moved to another room. We wait again for another 30 minutes for Dr. Robert’s who finally came in and stated that she was waiting for the drops to take effect. DON’T DRS EVER READ THE PATIENT RECORDS ANYMORE BEFORE THEY EXAMINE THEM?!? She examined her eye for 10 minutes and stated it was a Sty. Then, my sister was charged a 75.00 copay which I believe was over charged for the care she received. I appreciate they fitting my sister in like the Dr. stated however we spent an hour and half at an appointment that took 10 minutes to complete. Needless to say we will not be returning to Center for Sight for our eye care needs. Doctors need to realize that just as their time is valuable, so are their patients. This was a very frustrating experience which I couldn’t stifle my emotions and expressed while going through it. If your time is limited, don’t go here because that isn’t a priority for Dr. Roberts.
Would not recommend. The staff asked us if we wanted the same thing from the last pair of glasses and when we got them they say that it wasn't on the form. For the glasses and contacts. So we had to pay out of pocket. My husband has been a loyal customer but we will be taking our money eles where.
On today my daughters had an appointment scheduled at 3 PM. They informed me that my appointment had been moved to December 12. The lady at the front desk said let me call to see if we can get you in. When I explained to her I made this appointment three months ago due to me taking off, it was very important that we have it today. She said well you moved it I told her I didn’t reschedule any appointments. She responded back smartly that you would just have to come back tomorrow. She then turned around and spoke in Spanish to another worker. I found that very rude. I myself use to use the center for sight before my doctor moved to another town. My children has been using the center for sight since 2014. After the way that I was treated and discussed in another language, I decided to take my business elsewhere. When I did request for medical records the lady was very nasty. I was so disappointed.
