Nice atmosphere! Staff was kind to me. I want to address unprofessionalism when calling patients home. We are not your friend! Address patients with respect. If you can't pronounced the last name, place a "miss or Mr " before the first name.
Awesome experience! Took my 14 year old daughter there for a Lumbar Facet injection procedure. The staff was great! From front desk to all the nursing staff including Shawn who called to follow up on my daughter the day after her procedure. Cannot express enough how wonderful this experience was! Never had a moment where I was concerned about the care my daughter would receive.
Worst surgical experience I have ever had. My surgeon did his part, but the facility shoved me out the door shortly after my procedure was over. I was barely conscious, still had nausea, and could not even open my eyes I was still so groggy from the anesthesia. They asked me if I had a Rx for nausea, gave me a small box of juice, and got me dressed and into a wheelchair with me coming in/out of consciousness. And, they never had me try to go to the bathroom by myself, either. (My husband even said it seemed as if they were trying to get me out the door so they could all go home.) Thankfully, my husband was able to carry me inside our house from the car and get me into bed. I was still vomiting once we got home (had to keep a bowl by the bed), and he even had to help me into the bathroom due to my not coming out of the anesthesia for a bit. When I shared this with my surgeon, he was not happy. He contacted the facility the next morning after my follow-up appt. Someone named Mary called and left me a message. I called her back three times over the next two weeks, none of which she took my call or returned my message. I have had many surgeries throughout my life and I have never been allowed to leave a facility until I could get to the bathroom by myself, drink some fluids and eat a small snack so they could make sure I could keep it down. I was always fully awake (maybe a bit tired, but could open my eyes and hold a conversation) and never made to feel as if I was an unwelcome stranger. I also paid for my services up front, but just got an EOB in the mail from my insurance company where they filed for the Nurse Anesthetist's services. Wish me luck in getting a return call about that...
Originally I was told to be there at six thirty am. Then a few hours later was called and was told to be there at four thirty am. Arrived and the addministror question why was there so early. Explained that is what I was told. She was clueless. I was there for shots in my back. She went to the back and never saw her again. Another lady comes in an hour later and told her my back was hurting really bad. Not once was I offered any comfort. I'm self pay and that is all they wanted was my money. They wanted me to wait three hours. This place very unprofessional. I would not let them touch me with a 10 foot pole.
Nurses were great. Nice facility. But I knew I didn't owe any money at the time of my procedure, but the front desk lady said if I didn't pay, I couldn't have the procedure done. So I paid. When I received my EOB it confirms that I shouldn't have paid anything. I have been trying to get the refund for over a month, making multiple phone calls and leaving multiple messages. Still no call back and no refund. I'm sick of these people! .
