Surgery was great, however billing is absolutely ABSOLUTELY abysmal, I mean terribly bad. After the fact of the surgery, I apparently got billed incorrectly, called my insurance and after getting a hold of someone we played phone tag with the billing for a couple of days until I get a message from billing saying "well we'll send it back in to get repricing" great. NO, bad, I called again cause the bill was reprocessed with the same code that apparently they aren't even supposed to be putting on their bills. Now I'm in this constant phone tag battle with billing, the hospital, and my insurance to try figure out what the actual flying spaghetti nonsense is going on. TLDR, if this hospital group is mentioned get away immediately. You'll never get anywhere with billing in this regards, have fun paying over 11k in bills that surprise you after the fact.

I had surgery here in September of 2022. After all was said and done I paid my portion of the bill (because I have insurance) in full of ~$2400. Now three months later the surgery center is sending me a new bill asking me to pay immediately off $5800. After checking other reviews this is an incredibly common practice for them. DO NOT GET SURGERY DONE HERE.

I recently had a procedure done at the Grapevine Surgicare Center. I paid my out of pocket amount then a couple weeks later I received a bill. I called and was told I had to pay the bill even though I paid the mourning of my procedure and the insurance company would send the a reimbursement check 4-6 weeks afterward. Seems quite shady then I received a bill from U.S. Anesthesia for almost double of the amount insurance covered for my one hour procedure. During my procedure my hand was on fire from the anesthesia, if I could of left at that point I would have. This place and their "professionals" is part of the reason insurance is so high to begin with. I will never go back !

The nurses are wonderful... the business is a rip off that over bills after the fact... STAY AWAY FROM BAYLOR SURGICARE GRAPEVINE They told me up front my cost for a simple procedure which was very high to begin with... but I proceeded since this is something that needed resolved... it was 100% out of pocket since my deductible wasn't met yet... a month later I get a bill for thousands more than the thousands I already paid and their billing department claimed it was because insurance didn't cover any of the costs for the 30 minute procedure. I explained that we all knew that up front, that's why I paid so much the morning of the surgery... they outright refused to provide me with an itemized list of what the new charges were and demanded immediate payment. Being rather annoyed at how condescending this billing person was being and how she would not let me speak, I told her there was no way I am paying something that isn't being disclosed. She then said no problem I will turn it over to a 3rd party collection agency and mark it as refused to pay. Baylor Scott and White Surgicare Grapevine is not in the business to take care of people but rather to fleece them, if your doctor tries to schedule your procedure there request another location. On a sidenote, it seems the doctors all get a percentage from the Surgicare location as they are part owners apparently.

Great facility. Had a covid19 test today because of a surgery next week. This place was so clean you could eat off the floor. And they were organized and definitely ready for safety and social distancing. I feel confident for my surgery. I love the Baylor hospital system and normally go downtown if needed but this grapevine location is much closer to my home.
