Nurse Christie/Christy today at the waiting area disclosed patient's medical history in front of everyone (at least 10 patients). Nurse verbalized that the patient's procedure had to be canceled due to patient not having someone pick him up. Although patient said he could take an uber home, Nurse Christy verbalized twice that he couldn't do that due to his schzinophrenia. Once patient had his surgery canceled and left the facility, the other patients were talking about it. Not only was HIPAA broken by nurse Christy/Christie but patient was embarrased in front of all of us. Hope something gets done regarding this incident. Nothing justifies this unprofessional behavior.
I had an awful experience with my granddaughter. That staff has no experience or training with autistic children. I didn't like the way our nurse restrained my 4 yr old granddaughter. And she had a pull up when she went I to surgery. Ourr nurse said she peed herself so he had to take off her pull up? Really? There was no need that is what it was for. I am filing a complaint. Horrible service.
I went in for surgery today. I had an IV on and was ready to get on anesthesia. The anesthesia doctor asked if I was sick, which i told them that i had thrown up yesterday morning and had stomach problems She then proceeded to tell the doctor that I Said I was throwing up all day yesterday and all night which was a lie. Very unprofessional, nurses are nice could be nicer coming from an Operating room I already have anxiety going into surgery. And the craziest part Is that I heard the doctor and the anesthesia doctor Talking about me asking why did I come?. And he didn’t even come to ask if what the anesthesia doctor said was true he just left. A nurse came in asking why i didnt say i was sick and throwing up like the anesthesia doctor said i told her i never said that she went to see if the doctor was there he left and said I had to reschedule:/Didn’t even double with his client
From beginning to end, the process of my procedure was seamless. I was made very comfortable by my preop nurse Madonna, who was very attentive to me and my husband. I love that everything was explained to us before during and after the procedure I also want to state that my recovering nurse Lisa was exceptional Her bedside manner and her treatment of my husband and I were outstanding. Thank you to the staff at Paso Del Norte Surgery Center for making my experience in my procedure wonderful.
Clean waiting room. Easy check in. The service was excellent. All medical professionals were attentive, shared important information needed to know about my procedure, and made me feel comfortable. I felt comfortable that the team communicated well with each other. Lisa, the recovery room nurse, was extremely nice to me and to my husband. Provided great details in discharge instructions. Thank you for the great service.
