This was my 2nd surgical experience at North Park Heart & Vascular Center. Both times were very positive experiences. All the staff, from the front check-in people, to the nurses, to the doctors are very friendly, efficient, capable, and caring people. They keep on schedule and treat you like you are a family member. I highly recommend using this surgical center!

The procedure that I had went well and the staff on site were great. The issue with this facility is, their billing office. Before the procedure I paid the estimated fee that was my responsibility. I did not hear from them until 6 months later and they said I owed an additional $969 and it was past due. My response was “ I just received my explanation of benefits and it shows I over paid, you owe me a refund of $396”. I was told that yes I had over paid and I would get the refund as there needed to be a correction on the account. Fast forward 6 more months and multiple phone calls in which I am told they won’t release my refund until an issue with the insurance company corrects a short payment on their end”. I have contacted the insurance company twice and they contacted the billing office and told the billing office to file a claim for short payment. The billing office has never filed the claim with the insurance company. Very poor service.
