The professionals here are exceptional. However, the billing system here is not. They practice “balance billing”. They agree to a negotiated rate with the insurance company, and after that is paid, they bill the patient the difference. They require payment up front and then after insurance pays, refuse to reimburse for what you paid upfront. In some instances this is legal, but unethical in my opinion. Do not agree to a negotiated rate and then use a loophole to overcharge the patient! An insurance advocate is checking into this. I will update if Southwest Endoscopy does the right thing.

I was treated courteously during my time there. From the front desk to the back of the procedure room. Nurses were extremely nice and very helpful. And the anesthesiologist was very kind. Definitely would recommend this facility to others. Dr. Bismar is amazing and goes out of his way help his patients.

Too Tall
Everyone in the staff was excellent. Your comfort is high on their list. I have Myasthenia Gravis, and anesthesia can be difficult to recover from. Yet I had a very good recovery. I have to thank those responsible for my great recovery. Thank You
