Spent a few hours last Tuesday at Pinnacle Surgery Center for a basal joint arthroplasty (sad thumb joint). My driver was able to drop me off at a patient drop off spot and picked me up at the same place a few hours later. In between, the staff, nurses, anesthesiologist and doctor all took great care of me. They made check in seamless and easy, hooked me up to necessary lines and explained all the aspects of the procedure and what was needed so i knew what was about to happen. Smooth, very smooth! I was worried about downtown Austin navigating but everything was well posted and a piece of cake. Very happy with my surgery there and everyone involved! Highly recommend.
Tremendous care from signing in with Caitlin, being prepped by Chris, and the procedure with all involved Zoe, Robert, etc. Professional, kind, attentive, knowledgeable, communicative. Spotlessly clean facility. I wouldn't expect any less and couldn't ask for any more. My highest recommendation with no reservation.
I have nothing but positive feedback about my experience with the team at Pinnacle Surgery Center. The front desk staff were very welcoming. The pre-op nursing team were great: Teresa, Chris, and Hannah. The post-op team was great too: Sean T. The anesthesiologist was top notch. I can’t believe I can’t remember her name right now (I think it was Teresa as well) but she was incredibly detailed and caring. She took me from feel very nervous about going under general anesthesia to feeling I am in safe hands with her (If it’s possible to request anesthesiologists, request her!). Dr. Sean Gallagher did a great job on my surgery as well. He has a very calming bedside manner, explains things fully, and let me have the final say in what I wanted to do with my knee, with all the information, and tests, presented. He has also performed a successful knee replacement for my cousin. So, I knew going in he was good at what he does. Luckily, mine was ‘only’ a torn meniscus, and not a knee replacement. I would highly recommend Dr. Gallagher and the Pinnacle Surgery Center.
I have picked up patinets here after they have had surgery! Sean from PACU is absolutely our favorite. He gives the best report and our clients always seem happy and well taken care of
Every single person from start to finish (check-in, pre-op, anesthetist, surgeon, post-op) was kind, thorough, and professional. It’s rare to experience this level of bedside manner and empathy. The nurse anesthetist went through everything thoroughly with me and even texted the doctor when there was a question about the orders. They even brought me a coffee afterward because I’d been whining beforehand about not having any 😆Highly, highly recommend!
