I have a very long history of serious/weird eye issues that began with a fall more than 1/4 century ago. I was impressed that Dr. Medert had read my history and understood the complications. He discussed with me some options; thankfully, he also sent me home with papers that illustrated those options quite clearly. He discussed with me the POSSIBILITY of eye surgery; when I expressed possible interest in that, he referred me to the surgeon. I was very pleased that he spoke of pluses and minuses of various options, rather than saying something like. “I know it all; do when I say.”
