Can NOT recommend : had an apt with a PA, no diagnostic discussion, just straight to colonoscopy recommendation. No consult with actual physician. Met him the first time in the 'procedure room' (not even in prep room). After prep, I was wheeled into the procedure room - which was NOT surgical. There were dusty house lamps, flickering fluorescent lights. The 'tech' literally left me alone in the 'sterile' room for 10-20 minutes. Alone. (I should've just left. I even called the health department and was shocked to find out they have zero jurisdiction over medical offices/hospitals.) The doctor came in, and didn't even introduce himself. After the procedure he proceeded to tell me the ulcers I had were from NSAIDs - of which I do NOT take. He refused to believe me - basically called me a liar. Zero interest in cause analysis. Their website feels dodgy, filled with stock photos, and links to 'patient' or 'billing' portals that don't work.

My husband’s colonoscopy here was a totally different experience from what I had at ADC Endoscopy Specialists. The first red flag was the number of spelling and grammatical errors on the paperwork you fill out. The instructions were hard to understand. I would be embarrassed if my business handed paperwork like that to patients. Second, we had to wait for an hour and a half from his scheduled time for him to be called back. His appointment was at 9:30am and we didn’t leave until after 12pm. There was no communication with patients and caregivers about the procedure of drop off, waiting and pickup. The waiting room was gross, the furniture is all worn out, the windows are filthy, and everything has a layer of dust on it. They want you to wait in the waiting room which is freezing instead of just texting you in your car when the patient is ready. If you have a choice, go to ADC. I had the best experience there and we were only there for 45 minutes from the time we parked the car until my husband met me with the car pulled up to the pick up door as the staff helped me to the car. They were all so friendly, professional and efficient. Do not go to Amarillo Endoscopy Center.

I had colonoscopy and endoscopy and everything went very smoothly. I went out, woke up, it was over. I had no problems. Everyone was exceptionally friendly and showed compassion for everyone. I have been with Dr. Pathapati for years. He has always been great! I remember him when his hair was black. He looks great with grey.

I’ve been dealing with GI issues for over a year and was referred here. Do. Not. Recommend. The doctor seemed super confident in the office—big talk, big promises. Then he ran ONE test, it came back normal, and instead of exploring further, his nurse called to say they’re done with me. No follow-up. No next steps. Just “good luck out there.” So, if your problems aren’t neatly diagnosed on the first try… don't even waste your gas money coming here. 🙃

When you drive up you dont get a high level of confidence the buildiing and grounds not Pleasant windows haven't been clean in years it appears. Reception was OK. 100.00 to not meet the actual Dr. Is ridiculous. The reception area was nice. The rooms in ok condition but even picture frames falling apart. Corners of the floor dirty. I canceled my procedure to opt for a different option.
