The staff was great and extremely thorough especially Maria who is the the Director of Nurses, also the anesthesiologist Tim Jones was fantastic, easy on the eyes with a great a great hair line and very professional. I deducted one star for some drops of blood on the floor and Dr Banwait was extremely harsh when giving his findings, I understand that his job is to give the bad news but it was an equivalent of a gut punch. I couldn’t even look at him after… staff really is great.

UPDATE as of 8/13 - I finally got a letter from Anthem explaining why my claim for my prescription for Voquenza got denied. My insurance claims that Voquenza IS NOT for treating Barretts Esophagus, but Dr. Banwait forgot to mention that it is not to treat Barretts but to treat my GERD, which CAUSED the Barrets. Barrets Esophagus it's a complication of GERD, which means the doctor was TOO LAZY to explain it to the insurance. The only doctor in there who took time to listen and actually try and help was Dr. Caroline Lupercio, which was a pleasure to be treated by. Unlike "Dr." Banwait and his rude behavior. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rude and unprofessional! "Dr." Banwait was incredibly rude, demeaning, and hateful during a call when I wanted them to contact my insurance about a prior authorization. I was prescribed a medication my insurance doesn't normally cover. They sent it to "BlinkRX", which we never asked them to, and we asked for them to send it to our local pharmacy instead. The prior authorization they sent in did not go through because their system messed up a form. When we called the doctor's office back to ask that they call our insurance and sort this out (at our insurance provider's request), Dr. Banwait was demeaning, acting like we don't understand how insurance works, and how he has to waste time by calling insurance providers all the time for this stuff, how he already did this twice and this is the "last time" he will do it. I guess doing your job is too much to ask. Well don't worry, we WILL NOT be coming back! And if you're smart, you'll avoid him too!!! This was probably the only time we had ACTUALLY spoke to Dr. Banwait instead of one of his nurses. Again, avoid this doctor if you can!

I was told to be here at 2:30 for an endoscopy. It’s now 4:40 and I still haven’t been taken back to the room. Mind you I haven’t been able to eat since last night and nothing to drink since 7:30 this morning. The hanger is real.

I was told to be here at 7:30 am for an 8:00am appointment. I live in a small town so I left at 5:30am to be here by 7:30am. I got here at 7:20am. I used the online checkin QR code posted in waiting room as I didn’t know if anyone was here. After 30 minutes of waiting, I asked if they received my online checkin. No. So now I’ve almost been here waiting an hour and a half for a procedure scheduled an hour ago. Still waiting with the same group of people who were here right as I arrived. I won’t be back here again. Terrible way to run a business.
