From the moment they called to confirm my payment, to the moment I stepped foot into the facility I have never been treated so horrible by HMC. I had already made payment arrangements during their phone call but as soon as I walked in to their waiting room with a broken thermostat, Nita treated me completely unprofessional. She insisted I never made payment arrangents with stephanie and treated me with a complete lack of empathy, basically holding my cancer biopsy ransom until I paid more than I even should have based on my insurance deductible. This should have never have happened immediately prior to any surgical procedure. The RN attempted to make it better in the back, however once I got to recovery they rushed me out before I was even fully conscious. Hoping I don't have anything else done here anytime soon.
The nurses, doctors and staff are compassionate and overwhelmingly exceptional in their field. I have been a patient here a few times and have never had a cranky or unprofessional caregiver. Thank you so very much…
I just had a procedure done at Texas Midwest Surgery yesterday, and it was the best experience! Wow. Friendly staff, clean waiting room, attentive nurses who helped explain everything to me and Carlos was top notch in the operating room with my anesthesia! I also just received a follow up call (the following day) to make sure I was recovering well and if I had any more questions. Highly recommend them!
The staff I encountered are rude and unaccomodating. They acted as if every medical consideration was an inconvenience to them and every question was an imposition. I understand some policies make it impossible to be accommodating but others require discretion which is something this staff seems incapable of. They are also incompetent, disorganized, and forgettful. Rude and incompetent do not work well in the medical field. The recovery nurse was the one redeeming staff member. She was pleasant. If you can go elsewhere for your procedure, I highly recommend that you do.
I had a procedure today at Texas Midwest Surgery Center and my son will return on Monday to have his tonsils removed. The office called ahead of time to let me know what portion I needed to pay. I was able to take care of this ahead of time so that my checkin was quick and easy. My procedure ran late, but they kept me updated and communicated with my husband as well. Every staff member was kind and friendly and I felt like they took excellent care of me. I feel great returning with my little man next week.
