Dr. Rocky McAdams is the absolute best. My 17 year old just had cataract surgery and a few days after on a Saturday, she started having a migraine that would not go away with any Tylenol. I called the on call Saturday around 6 and he called me back, he tried to get a hold of her Dr in Wichita but he was on vacation and no other Dr was on call to look at her. He wanted to see her right away and asked if we could go to Abilene and he would meet us at his office when we arrived. We arrived around 10pm, called and he was there to look things over. This wonderful Dr went out of his way for us and even put us in a hotel that night! Thank you Dr Rocky for your devotion to your patients!

All the staff was wonderful- Daniel was awesome with my IV, Dave put me to sleep, and of course Dr Haynes was awesome as usual- with his professionalism and experience. The other 2 nurses were awesome too- forgot their names! Even the business office was wonderful. Will definitely use this office again!

Overall, I echo what everyone else has said here. Friendly, efficient staff, smooth procedure. They eased my anxieties and took good care of me. I would definitely return. The only complaint I have is that they clearly explained I would not remember anything that happened for the rest of the day. So they knew. Imagine my surprise when I found post-procedure instructions and a prescription in my purse TWO DAYS LATER. Did they put it in my purse before returning it to me from the locker? Did they hand it to me while talking to me, and, distracted, I put it in my purse without realizing? I have no idea. I remember EVERYTHING else from the rest of the day, including what time my friend picked me up, where we went, what we talked about, and all. But I remember nothing about that paperwork. Maybe they should have given it or mentioned it to my friend. Do you think?

Great experience start to finish. I was in the waiting room for approx 5 minutes before I was brought back to the treatment area. RN immediately started IV. Anesthesiologist was there only minutes later to take my medical history and take me back to procedure room. Doctor was there 10 minutes later. My procedure appointment was 10:30 and I was out of recovery and on my way home by 11:15. Great people at every step of the process. Dr Haynes was doing double duty yet still staying on schedule. I'd use these offices again.

The staff was friendly, caring, and efficient. They also did a good job of explaining what the procedures involved and setting expectations. I really liked Dr. Smith as well. He's new to Abilene (2020) and I hope he and his family stay for a long time!
