They took care of my son, he was nervous about his surgery. I met with the surgeon and he was very informative and so kind to me. We all felt safe and the surgery was amazing. All the staff were informative about his surgery, it's just amazing how important they made us feel at the surgical clinic. Thank-you so much for being so amazing, God bless you!

The billing practices of Campbell Clinic Surgery Center are downright predatory. I was never given a clear, itemized invoice or notified of a balance due. Instead, they quietly sold the debt to a collection agency without so much as a phone call or mailed reminder. When I contacted them to resolve it directly, they refused to help and hid behind the excuse that billing is “handled by a different entity.” This lack of transparency and accountability isn’t just frustrating—it’s unethical. Patients deserve better than to be blindsided by collections for bills they were never properly informed of.

Dr. Grear and his assistant Kristina were kind, and the recovery nurse (name started with A) was great. However, once the numbness wore off, things went downhill. The splint was too tight, causing my boyfriend extreme pain…the worst he’s ever felt. We spent hours trying to reach the on-call doctor (J.W.) through the 24/7 receptionist on Friday, 3/21, but he couldn’t be located. That’s unacceptable. Eventually, we were told to go to a clinic instead, which delayed care and prolonged his suffering. When we returned to the surgery center, our doctor and assistant weren’t in, and we had to wait for a different clinic to open. Staff admitted this wasn’t the first time the on-call doctor was unreachable. Other patients in the waiting room noticed how bad his pain was. Some staff initially dismissed our concerns, but later confirmed the splint was indeed too tight and pinching. Kristina, while nice, rarely answers calls. Post-op therapy has also been rushed and lacks communication unless prompted. Overall, this experience was disappointing, and I wouldn’t recommend the Campbell Clinic.

3 stars only for intake, and the entire nursing/OR staff. They were amazing and helped me feel more at ease. Surgery went well but things started going downhill after I was discharged. My surgeon prescribed me medication that I took as directed and I ran out three days post op. I ran out on a Sunday and Memorial Day Weekend so of course everyone is closed! The after hours service on call Dr. cannot call in narcotics and my surgeon or his nurse seem to be incredibly hard to get a message to. I ended up having to go to the ER for my pain and they couldn’t do anything for me either. I am in an incredible amount of pain and no one on the Campbells clinic after hours staff seems to care or want to help. I now have to wait until Tuesday until the office is open to hopefully speak to someone on staff who can help. The hoops I’ve had to jump through to get one medication is absolutely ridiculous considering I just had surgery and had multiple parts of my body cut open, but no it’s fine apparently! Just take Tylenol is what I was told. I am absolutely livid.
