I rarely leave reviews, but everyone was so pleasant and helpful at Brown Endoscopy Center that I wanted to acknowledge the level of care I received. From the front desk to the nurses, techs, anesthesiologist, and doctor, everyone was kind, attentive, and seemed relaxed, which helped put me at ease. The process was very streamlined too, with almost no waiting and easy parking. While I hope not to need this kind of procedure again for a while, I would definitely choose to receive care at this facility again if needed.
Staffing was not attentive to getting back with Patients In a timely manner. Check-In receptions pretended to look busy when you needed to check in. Just a bad overall experience and still dealing with complications 9 weeks later.
This place is not all it's cracked up to be, I'm sorry. This rating is primarily because I was coerced into using anesthesia during my procedure when I was very against it. I am a person who can push through a lot and avoid meds whenever possible. I read how in Europe the norm is to not be put under and so I wanted to try it. I was met with resistance by everyone on the team and was told that if I wanted to not be put under that they would have to reschedule me to the end of the day. I had scheduled this weeks in advance and I did not want to reschedule my spot. After I broke down and finally agreed then the whole staff was happy and all cheered in the procedure room. This clearly tells me it's for their sake and not the patient's sake. I felt like such a number at this place. It's just a factory. Then I felt like the staff was snickering when I was coming out of anesthesia. I get it, when I was younger I said silly things in recovery before, but this time they weren't taking my requests seriously enough and I just felt like I was an opportunity for them to laugh. Never. Going. Back. You want to just be a number and be randomly assigned a provider for when you have a procedure that you meet 5 minutes before getting out to sleep? Be my guest. I'm here to establish a good provider / patient relationship which I absolutely did not get from Dr. Fine.
Excellent. Efficient process. Technician and every member of the NURSING staff is kind, sincere, soft spoken, patient and genuine. You won’t feel overwhelmed with this crew. They are amazing. The Doctor is just as warm and genuine ( also a female which I LOVED for this procedure). It’s been a long time since I’ve experienced this level of professionalism and kindness. The world just isn’t into customer service and genuine interactions. Don’t go anywhere else or put this off any longer.
The staff were absolutely amazing. They made me feel like a family friend of theirs. Between the IV Technician, the primary doctor, the nurses that assisted the procedure and the nurses that spoke to me prior and afterwards, I was completely and totally satisfied with everyone that worked with me and am very pleased. Thank you all so much!
