I had my vision corrected several years ago via PRK. I have not regretted this decision and had no major concerns after surgery. My eyesight continues to be 20/15 or better. Even more recently, as I've developed Reccurent Corneal Errosion, these men and women have been extremely understanding, gentle, and professional about it. I want to say that I have always had extreme anxiety surrounding my face (eyes/teeth) and these doctors put me at ease in any way they can. I straight up panicked when they were putting in my first bandage contact after a big scratch. They waited and we finally got it placed. Removal is always easier. That said, the last couple visits, I've noticed that there are sound machines in each hallway. The ambient noise is not for me and seems to ramp up my desire to gtfo as fast as possible. They leave the doors open while you wait for the doctor and I seem to always be right by one of these infernal contraptions. I love these doctors and once the door is closed, I'm fine. However, I can't imagine working here with that constant sound. Maybe it's my neurospiciness, but this is my ick. Still 5* for their professionalism and quality of care. Just not for the ambient noise.

The vision in my right eye since having cataract surgery is truly amazing! I am so grateful to Dr. LaCroce. She did a fantastic job and the entire experience with the attending staff at the Surgical Center was outstanding! I would definitely recommend Eyes of York if you're considering cataract surgery.

Dr LaCroce was kind and answered all my questions. The nurse anesthesia was amazing helping get thru the surgery without difficulty. The nurse were very nice and attentive to all my needs especially one who put a pillow under my knees for comfort. The nurses who placed my IV were amazing considering I have little tiny veins. Great experience overall

This was my first visit at Eyes if York. As I entered, I accessed the kiosk and was AMAZED at the newest technology! I have never seen a kiosk that is so well put together! Taking my info and payment in one access is AMAZING! Let's just say I was profoundly impressed! The lady at the front desk helped me slide my credit card as my hands were not strong enough to slide it all the way through. She was very courteous, friendly, knowledgeable, and made me feel truly welcome there! When the specialist came & got me from the waiting room, she was very sweet and kind During the process, she let me be aware of what was going on & explained it to me. She was very courteous , knowledgeable, and pleasantly kind! When I met Dr Lacroce, she was very knowledgeable, courteous, kind and took her time during the examination and explained everything very thorough...She made me feel comfortable being there and told me to ask any questions or concerns I had. She shared with me the reason I needed the surgery and all the wonderful things the surgery would provide for me! I truly appreciated her patience and knowledge! The lady who makes surgery appointments was very nice & told me I could come back next week to schedule as my ride was already there. I am extremely satisfied with the staff here ! I would highly reccomend Dr Samantha Lacroce & her excellent staff!!
