Dr. Nicholas is exceptional! I see Dr. Nicholas regularly because of a medication I take, but Dr. Nicholas also just did cataract surgery to both eyes and the experience was exceptional too! A routine eye exam with my optometrist convinced me to call Berks Eye Physicians & Surgeons. Whatever hesitation I had vanished upon arrival, as the check-in people greeted me like an old friend. At that point, I knew I was in the right place. Several other staff members performed the necessary tests with professionalism and courtesy. At my initial appointment, I met Dr. Kasey Pierson and received an extremely helpful information packet that really covered any questions I might have, from types of lenses to post-surgery care. Every visit after that was the same unrivaled friendly and professional experience from beginning to end. From the first moment, it was obvious Dr. Pierson was knowledgeable as well as talented. His diagnosis of my cataracts, recommendations, and explanation of my present condition and future expectations instilled complete confidence in whatever he needed to do for my eyes. Plus, Dr. Pierson's genuine warmth and enthusiasm to improve my life sealed the deal. So after two cataract surgeries, I am typing this review in ambient light without glasses. Dr. Pierson essentially restored a huge part of my life, and I am eternally grateful for his expertise and skill. My sight is amazing now and the world has colors!
