GPOA had me hav surgery at this location.This location is not covered by UPMC. I handed them a UPMC insurance card when I arrived for surgery, didn't tell me the location was not covered. They also didn't get pre-approval until after the surgery. Now I am being charged for the surgery. They don't care about the patient here, only the money. If you can use another location do it.

Very good experience. Everyone was very friendly. Kept my husband updated throughout all the stages of my procedure. Comfortable waiting area included coffee and a TV area. You do have to be buzzed in and out of the center. Ease of entry from the parking lot, plenty of handicapped parking, located on the first floor. Personally, I much prefer outpatient surgery centers over hospitals. They are so much more convenient, and hospitals can get complicated in many ways. Surgery centers are more efficient.

Plenty of parking with handicap accessible spaces. Clean building and elevator there’s a bathroom on each floor.

Both my sons have had orthopedic surgery here one for shoulder the other knee. The staff Nurses and Doctors are amazing we were treaded with respect and kindness. Their knowledge and attention to details and compassion for the patient is above expectations if ever given an option I would choose this location over any other or hospital.

I recently had a significant orthopedic procedure done at Surgery Center at Edgeworth. Not having had any significant surgical procedures in my life, I was a bit anxious about it. But I can tell you that from the moment I walked in the door I was treated professionally and with kindness and compassion. The nurses, doctors, and staff all seemed to be the "A team," the best of the best in their profession and were confident and considerate of all of my needs and questions. If you are considering the Surgery Center at Edgeworth, I would recommend without exception. I couldn't have had a better experience, they are all an amazing team.
