My GI specialist of over 8 years got to be so OVERBOOKED & UNDERSTAFFED & just too difficult to navigate appropriate care, so my PCP recently referred me here. (Dr. Jared Kenny; "Digestive Health Specialists Surgery & Laser Center") -Seneca. !wish id done this YEARS AGO! -- un-doubtedly would've saved a ton of frustration, and prob 2 yrs ahead in my TX! - got a 1st apt scheduled just a few days following the date of actual referral!- 1st apt- seen by PA/ Physician Assistant- she THOROUGHLY & EFFICIENTLY evaluated me showing understanding & kindness. She listened, allowing me time to elaborate GI history; both past & present + labs & testing concerns done prior to, etc.. Never once did she make me feel unimportant, or rushed; I felt heard, in that my concerns were validated, as with reciprocal questioning, you feel sense of care u dont typically get frm most providers- when they care to have a full understanding of all circumstances. a nice change for once!?🙂 plus- the procedure I'd been trying to get done now for ** (i shit you not-- 10++MONTHS)**, she had scheduled before i left that 1st apt, for 6 DAYS from that date?!? again, this is UNHEARD OF! This type of speedy, yet professional care just doesn't seem to happen anymore, ANYWHERE!? Truly AMAZED!? Also NOTE- Dr. Kenny's office is an entire building made up to include it all... GI office clinic for patient office- visits on one side of the building and his own surgery center on the other side; all his patients surgery & laser procedures are performed here.. "1 stop shop" makes things more CONVENIENT, & in a weird- kinda- way, makes those dreaded, uncomfortable GI procedures, just a🤏 more comfortable & accommodating! Dr. Kenny came in directly following procedure & thoroughly reviewed results & his findings, went over any my concerns, etc. I've had quite a few of the dreadful GI procedures done, but this was by far, the most accommodating, quickest, professional & 'enjoyable' one yet!. (if u know, you know.)😆 >upmost professional care, in a timely manner i top care in my books!! I arrived, they took me in, prepped me, did procedure, and I was back on the rd, headin home**ALL WITHIN 2 HRS TOTAL. extremely confident in dr & all staff experience, expertise & overall patient care! So happy IM GRATEFUL FOR THIS REFERRAL!! Long story short... ***referral, established as a new patient, 1st apt, + entire procedure completed, ALL DONE & took no more than 2 Weeks total!= completely unheard of!? Im so grateful 🙏 ...if you know, you know!!! Don't hesitate to make apt here. Ya won't regret it In regards to my 8+year relationship/experience at & with my previous GI Dr- "at end of the day, NO ONE should have to hang on, waiting for care...but esp not a concerned, well- established patient, wait 10+ MONTHS to get a simple office apt to further discuss their concerns.. then be turned away & make wait ANOTHER 6+ MONTHS for the actual procedure to take place! It's absolutely, unequivocally UNACCEPTABLE in a Dr/patient establishment.. esp being a patient of theirs, & theirs alone for 8+yrs, and note they have alarming/concerning, possibly URGENT issues present!?! Being scared & not knowing if this length of untreated time will make things worse, life altering or poss life-threatening!? Its my fault I stayed so long. lesson learned!💯
