Wonderful experience! Such amazing and friendly staff - from the front desk to the nurses to the physician. So caring and professional. Even got a call the next day to see how we were. I would highly recommend this facility. Thank you for making my family's experience so positive.
Very pleasant staff with an easy procedure, would prefer this location going forward. Doctor explained everything very well. All the nurses were accommodating and making sure I was at ease the entire time.
Just had a procedure done yesterday and had a great experience. Every single person I encountered, from the check-in staff to the nurses to the anesthesiologist was kind and attentive. Dr. Dhawan was knowledgeable, checked in on me several times to talk about my treatment plan based on my history, and following the procedure after we discussed results. They also took great care to inform patients about checking in with themselves as far as any continuing symptoms and safety following the procedure, since you have anesthesia in your system. Highly recommend this facility!
The nurses here were probably the best and nicest nurses Ive ever had! I believe her name was Ellie or Ella and the other nurse i didnt catch her name but she had short brown hair with cool glasses on, they were the best. They were gentle, kind and caring. They took their time with my IV even though it was super hard to find and I was really nervous about it. The place was clean and we got in and out for my endoscopy. They treated me like a human and had compassion. Thats hard to find at doctors offices or hospitals anymore. Please continue to be the kind and caring people you are. Theres not enough of u guys left in the world. Thank you!
I went in for a routine colonoscopy. Dr. Oliva perforated my colon during the procedure, a serious and potentially life threatening condition that could cause sepsis or a deadly bacterial infection. After the procedure, Dr.Oliva said that he would have to transport me to the AGH emergency room, which I was, and that I might be there overnight with IV antibiotics. I subsequently was in the Allegheny General Hospital for six days on IV antibiotics. There was considerable pain involved in the first 24 hours for which I was treated with morphine. . Not once did Dr. Oliva or anyone from Northshore Endoscopy Center visit or contact me to see how I was doing. When I got out the hospital and I was recovering, I called his office four times asking for something as simple as a phone call to go over some of my abnormal results. Despite trying during the past two weeks, I have not gotten one single phone call from Dr. Oliva or the center. I was told I could make a physical appointment to discuss the results with him but that there were no appointments available until February. This place is terrible! If I could give him a minus star, I definitely would. I do not recommend them at all.
