Scheduled to be at the surgery center at 08:30, I wasn’t called back until 09:30, the nurse took my blood pressure and never removed the cuff. I felt like I had a TOURNIQUET on my arm, I asked if she was going to release the pressure….she said oh yeah…she also said you know your blood pressure is high. Let it be known I never have high BP prior to surgeries. My wife or daughter was never brought back to see me, I finally came out of surgery and my wife and daughter were called back. Very little information was provided to me for post surgery, I never got a call post surgery as I was told on the post surgery paperwork. I was even given medication that I was not informed until CVS sent me an alert. Dr. Jack Smith was superb but the support staff prior to the surgery was far from helpful.
