If I could give them zero stars, I would. My mom needed surgery on her back. After waiting weeks and calling over and over again, the Friday before the Monday surgery, I got a call saying we would owe almost 3000. Talk about getting someone in a corner. Oh and they prefer cash. Our doctor saw our distress and frustration the day of the surgery and said they should be in network and it shouldn't be that much. I called our insurance company and they stated that we were in network but we then found out my mom's plan was not. The billing lady at the surgery center was very defensive from our first conversation and blamed everyone else any chance she could get. I said it was ridiculous to get a call on a Friday for a Monday surgery and she first said they had just gotten the information then said that they do that on purpose because people sometimes have coverage and purposefully plan their surgery for when they do not. She even made a comment that she wasn't being racist but insurance company folks are in other countries and "you know." She then found that they had not renewed the subset of insurance. And that they would work on it and get us a refund. She then came back and said that they couldn't and I should try. I've never experienced such care at any outpatient surgery or medical facility. DO NOT GO HERE. And just know if they say they are going to get you a refund, it's a lie. They will wash their hands clean and blame you and everyone else. Terrible practices and terrible customer service. Cornering senior citizens in excruciating pain is so immoral and they should be ashamed of themselves!

I am, unfortunately, a frequent flyer at the surgery center for my much needed epidural injections. They are well organized and aware of my needs, I just wish that insurance still covered the anesthesia at the Center. It is a very reasonable $100.00 fee, but free is always for me.
