They called me out to schedule for an appointment. For january 30th. I received a phone call on January 19th. Saying they have to reschedule, and they expected me to reschedule right then and there, when I'd have my own schedule to go by, they just think it's okay, then I can drop everything for the appointment. Maybe I'll just deal with my breathing issues. Because I could not accommodate their schedule program.Canceling my appointment
Billing dept. is incompetent and rude. Was overcharged multiple times after clearly explaining that my plan covers services 100% since I've met my OOP.
I happened to call up for an appointment reschedule and about queries regarding billing . The lady at the front desk who spoke to me was rude, lacked courtesy and patience throughout the conversation. I had to rush and make an appointment so as to avoid listening to her rude comments over a billed amount. She enjoyed pinning the onus on me vs understanding what went wrong. I then called back again to request her for an appointment on an alternate day . This time her tone just changed listening to my name , she just lectured me without giving me any time slots. I had to politely remind her that it is her duty to be patient and to provide me with an appointment, after which she did, but she didn’t stop targeting me. No patient would appreciate speaking to such folks. She couldn’t wait to cut the call. Better training would be appreciated. The wait times are long.., despite arriving 15 mins prior to the appointment time and is yet another concern to be addressed
Please do better when selecting the non medical people you have dealing with patients. Called with questions about a bill because it was confusing to me with things I do not understand about insurance, etc. The woman assisting me was impatient and constantly spoke over me. I had questions. I wasn't understanding. When I asked if she would be more patient with me and not speak over me when I was asking questions she stated she that she's "just telling me the same things over and over." And that she WAS going to try to help me but now I could just figure it out myself. I called back to speak to someone different, this time the operator was awful right from the jump. The lady answered the phone and I asked...may I ask who I'm speaking with? She wasn't okay with me asking. People who call into a doctor's office are probably not feeling well, are sick, or worse. Please do a better job selecting those who will be dealing with patients. Why do your patients have to deal with that on top of their medical issues?
This review goes specifically for the gastroenterology office. Based on the size of my review, hopefully you read it till the end on why I don't recommend this office. Today I had a second bad experience with the staff there and my first with Dr. Dharbhamulla. Everything started when they ask every time to patients to arrive 15 minutes prior to an appointment to fill out paperwork. Does that make sense? Never seen this before. Anyway, after figuring out where to park and how to get to the right floor, I got there 15 minutes after my schedule and the front desk said the doctor asked me to reschedule my appointment. And then I asked why? Because you got 30 minutes late (considering the 15 minutes prior your appointment) and because of paperwork to fulfill. By the way, the lady on the front desk couldn't contain herself on raising the voice why they were not taking me in today. We have so many options for doctors and clinics, why I am going to stress about this? Just decide to spend the time here to make sure some people will read this and don't adventure your health and time there. Maybe having fewer pacientes and a longer time slot to take care of each patient, besides better trained staff and friendlier people, they can have more patients.
