I am giving a one-star rating based solely on the actions of one nurse, whose behavior was inconsiderate, uncompassionate, and completely unprofessional. From the outset, this nurse, Anne or Anna, displayed a dismissive and condescending attitude. She disregarded my concerns and showed no empathy for my anxieties about the surgery. Her lack of communication and disregard for my comfort made an already stressful situation much worse. She did not allow my husband to wait with me even though the surgeon was running a few hours behind. I was told by other staff that he could wait with me, but she flat out said no and offered no solutions. The nurse's incompetence was further evident in her inability to insert an IV. Despite my clear expression of pain and fear, she continued to cause me discomfort. Her unprofessionalism culminated in her yelling at me and bad-mouthing me to other staff when she failed to insert the IV, even with the aid of an ultrasound. I was left alone and distressed for a significant amount of time before another nurse took over, who, thankfully, provided compassionate and competent care. The Anesthesiologist inserted my IV and did so with empathy and competency. He made me feel comfortable and carried on a conversation with me while doing it to take my mind off of the process. It was painless and quick, as it should be. I am appalled by the lack of accountability and the overall disregard for patient well-being that I experienced. I expect a surgery center to maintain the highest standards of professionalism and compassion. This was clearly not the case during my visit. I urge you to address these issues and take appropriate action to ensure that no other patient experiences such mistreatment

I was pleased to have staff call prior to my procedure and explain billing and that I would receive multiple bills. The nursing staff was friendly and amazing. They answered all my questions. Dr.Stanley communicated with my husband so we would know what to expect at home. Overall, a great experience.

Waiting on a short surgery to take husband home. Kicked out of an empty waiting room in 30° weather. Will go ANYWHERE else next time. Plus lots of extra charges when you check in that should be included in the price...like extra for anesthesia.

79 year old family member just completed surgery to remove cataracts on both eyes. This center is convenient yet not transparent with their billing and procedures. Be prepared for unexpected charges and inconsistent procedures provided with minimal follow up communication from surgeon. We are currently trying to follow up directly, yet they pass follow up care to Cascade Eye Center where we have no prior established relationship. Lots of unanswered questions are now revealing themselves
