I was in a deep, dark place this time last year and Cedar Hills took me in with open arms. I had never done an outpatient mental health program, I was feeling really insecure. The staff was wonderful, it felt great to have everything managed in one place. Frequent medication changes proved to be so helpful. This program allowed me to get back to the basics of self care, along with depression and anxiety management. I graduated April 2024 and I’m a different person. I can go to work, I can safely express my emotions, I can verbalize my needs, and I understand that I have worth. Thank you Paisley for being the best counselor and helping us all get to the place we want and deserve to be.

I was really struggling with depression and anxiety earlier this year, I was incredibly skeptical when I began the program, but after about a month, I could already notice real positive changes. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and most of all, they care. I recently graduated after two months, and I am so grateful for all the help they provided, the knowledge they imparted, and the tools they taught. Most of the work from this type of therapy has to come from the individual, but the staff at Cedar Hills Outpatient really did make a big positive impression on me. I would recommend this to anyone struggling with depression and or anxiety. Go in as skeptical as you need, but if you are open to making the changes, and you put in the effort, I'm almost certain you will also see some good come from it. It's not a fun thing to go do, but it is worthwhile. For anyone struggling and deciding to at least get screened, I'm proud of you. You're gonna do great.

I had an incredible experience at Cedar Hills Outpatient last fall. I was in one of the in-person groups and having severe mental health struggles at the time. The staff were very warm and welcoming, and my therapist was very knowledgeable on topics presented and discussed. I loved the group format and hearing other people’s stories because it made me feel so much less alone, and we were able to relate to and learn from eachother. After 2 months, I graduated from the program with a completely different, positive outlook of myself, and finally had some hope for my future. Since leaving the program, my mental health has continued to improve and I’m over 7 months sober now. Going into it, I didn’t think it would help me very much and I was so wrong. I’m so grateful for CHOP and the tools and support they provided me during my time there. It completely changed my life.
