The doctor and assistant were excellent. The doctor recognized my foot problem immediately and was able to alleviate my pain very quickly. The assistant made me feel at ease and comfortable. I was very grateful to both. Well done
I’ve been a long-time Kaiser Permanente member, but my recent visit to Sunnybrook Medical Office was very disappointing. I had a 4:30 appointment on September 10th and arrived around 4:20 to check in. The front desk staff member, Amy, was extremely unfriendly, dismissive, and unprofessional. She told me (without checking the computer or making a call) that my appointment was delayed by 45 minutes, gave no explanation, and spoke in a very arrogant tone. When I politely asked if I could take a short walk during the wait, she responded harshly and told me I could not leave the building once checked in. As someone recovering from surgery, I needed to move around, so I stepped out briefly. While I was nearby, a nurse called asking where I was, which made the situation even more stressful and embarrassing. The front desk is the first point of contact for patients and should reflect care and professionalism. Unfortunately, Amy’s behavior did the opposite. Kaiser should take this seriously and provide better training for front desk staff. If this type of service continues, I may consider switching providers.
The surgery staff are efficient friendly supportive and highly competent! We couldn’t be happier than we are during a difficult time. Thanks so much to everyone in the cancer treatment department 💕💕💕💕
Worse experience of my entire life! Make sure you have family with you because they take your phone and abuse their patients! It is a blessing that they have some staff that are decent nice people! Otherwise very scary Hospital! Unbelievable! I am going to see if I can request a no contact order so the hospital literally doesn’t have the opportunity to do Thor weirdness to me ever again! Very scary place! They DISCRIMINATE! They BREAK THE LAW AND VIOLATE YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS!
Super nice staff always busy and caring. They have the answers if you ask and are great at providing all inclusive care. My doctor is in good contact with all my specialties and helps make and organize my appointments each month.
