The eye surgery was fine. But they do not answer the phone. They messed up the insurance aspect of the service and want to get paid. Good news, I have very good insurance, but I cannot get them on the phone to take down my insurance information to resolve the issue. If getting ahold of them by phone was not such a nightmare, I would have given them 5-stars, but their business end is hurting them.
They take very good care of their patients. They're clear with their instructions and they wheel you out to your car after the surgery. They use anaesthesia so when they tell you that you need to have a driver, you need to have a driver. But mom's seeing so much more clearly now.
The Cataract Institute has eye surgery on Thursdays starting early in the morning. The receptionist, staff and RN's are very pleasant and attentive to making you feel comfortable. The ananathioligest visits with you before surgery to confirm you did not eat, concerns of allergic reactions to the drug cocktail to be administered, how did you do last time. They do one eye and in two weeks do the other. Follow ups are done across the hall at the eye clinic. Very efficient operation. They also sell glasses there.
Wonderful surgery center. They donate a full day every year to help others. Highly recommend this surgery center
The nurses and doctors that work here are wonderful and the professionalism was mixed with wonderful bedside manner. This is a very clean comfortable facility but the front desk woman needs training on how to be professional and be personable while dealing with patients. She either hates her job, herself or people. That was the worst encounter of my life! I am a front desk professional in the Endodontic industry for over 30 years. I was appalled!
