Do not go to this center for your procedure. Billing if a nightmare, they have double billed me and refuse to acknowledge it. And when you try to call their central billing department to figure out what is happening, the customer service representatives at UH North Ridgeville Endoscopy Center start yelling at you. I spoke to a representative today, Alecia* (*she refused to provide the spelling of her name) who threatened to hang up on me while I had brought my insurance company on the line to try and figure out what is going on. Alecia was aggressive, demeaning and she insisted that I owed a substantial sum of money when my insurance representative was on the line and telling me that I owed nothing. I am still on other line with my (shocking helpful) insurance company who is assuring me that I owed nothing on this claim. Bottom line, I went to this surgical center because UH told me it would be the quickest to schedule into and it seems like it’s easy to schedule there for a reason. Because their billing is suspicious and their customer service representatives and unhelpful and mean.
