I’d give this facility 10 stars if I could, from the time we arrived, to the time we left. My mother had to have cataract surgery here yesterday (9/28/23) on her right eye, they made sure that me and her both were comfortable during our time there. Front desk, nurses, anesthesiologist, and doctor were all very friendly and made sure my mother was comfortable, and I heard them being the same way with all the other patients there too. Mom was kind of nervous about the surgery & they helped relieve some of her fears and concerns. They called the next day and asked how she was, and even asked if she was ok after specific concerns she had while there. I truly cannot thank these people enough for their kindness, mom goes in again next week and we know that she’ll be in excellent hands there!

The staff at Tri State Surgical Center is the Best. I had cataract surgery on both eyes and the staff was extremely efficient and professional. I recommend this facility the highest I can and I will recommend it to anyone needing Opthamology services.

This review is based upon someone not from this area. My mother had to have 2 nd eye surgery done by them. The first surgery went very well. She liked the staff working here too. No problem with her first surgery. Waiting right now for her second. Will update on that as well later on. This review is a mix of first surgery but mainly based upon location or to be more accurate the setup of these buildings, the buildings, streets, etc. Good luck finding this place unless you're a local. My mom is not one to remember things or where she's been too much. So, I was on my own. My car's gps, phone gps, and my mother's gps still didn't lead me here. They need an attention grabbing sign. Or call the receptionist haaahaaa. She's the one that helped us. Finding the building is stressful. Not the best end of the world, but hey they are a legit hidden gem. Good luck!

I just had cataract surgery at the surgery center in Ironton Ohio. What a wonderful group of people this is the way medicine and procedure should be performed always communicating, kind, generous, compassionate, empathetic. They gave me a wonderful information packet with all the information I needed on my lens pre-surgery post surgery what to expect. It was remarkable so wonderful and all the people at the surgery center were so kind and compassionate very caring, quick minimal waiting. This is the way medicine should be a fine example and Dr. CARTER GUSSLER Was simply wonderful, calming reassuring, and everything he said would happen happen just like it was the only uncomfortable aspect of this I surgery was the pain taking off the tape for my IV and staring into a bright light other than that it was remarkably minimal discomfort. Highly recommend this group highly recommend the surgery center for your cataract surgery. I wish I could give it 10 stars.
