My experience at the Digestive Specialists center on Clyo Rd. was bad from start to finish. When I was called to the desk to be checked in, upon learning that I was on Oxygen, the person doing my intake went to the back to alert someone that I had oxygen and to verify if my procedure was going to still take place. Shortly after her return, another young lady entered the area where we were and immediately shout it out that my procedure was canceled. She further stated that the doctor nor the anesthesiologist was willing to do the procedure. Despite having clearance from my pulmonary doctor and making them aware of my current health situation when I was contacted to schedule the procedure, I feel like the staff handled the situation very poorly. The young lady that told me she was only delivering the message made me feel as if the cancellation was my fault versus the staff taking accountability for the mishap. They showed no sense of compassion or care for the effort, time and inconveniences that I had to take in preparing for this day. I was supposed to receive a call regarding the rescheduling of the procedure and as of today ( a week later) I have not heard anything from Digestive Specialists staff. From my experience, the staff don't seem to take their job seriously and the patient isn't a priority, at least I didn't feel like I was a priority. Patient care is truly not a top priority, they lacked professionalism, good communication skills and compassion for this situation. Extremely Disappointed Dorothea
Put my mama and I in bad situation. Treat you like horrible & DO NOT LISTEN when you have special needs. Never going back & may report to the state!
Delivered a catering order for McAllister's. The trip was an $150 order. Wanted to set the huge box and huge bag at receptionist station so I could call point of contact. Was yelled at NO, take it upstairs. Upstairs was told to wait. Waited & then they wanted me to take it "in the back." Only after the girl confirmed it wasn't heavy, was I able to offload delivery. Terrible tip, but I found out from DD FB group that McAllister's keeps most of the tip.
The whole staff is wonderful from start to finish. Very friendly and professional and they put you at ease. We have seen Dr Verma for years and highly recommend him. Im very picky about my medical care so if I give 5 stars you know theyre good! 😊
Everything went well and professional until meeting with my anesthesiologist...one word to describe is downright rude! When I asked that I wanted anti nausea medication in my IV, he abruptly stated that I did not need it. Wait a minute...how is he going to tell me what I need and don't need? He finally agreed to give me the medication. He needs to be let go...no professionalism at all!
