I am so glad to have found Journey Lite! It’s been about a year since surgery and I can say that every aspect of my experience has been above and beyond my expectations. I ultimately chose JL bc my insurance did not cover bariatric surgery. I live in Indianapolis, so the drive to Cincinnati was no big deal and totally worth it! I've been a patient with Dr. Curry and his team since April. They have been 💯 the best. Don't be afraid to not go to them even if you live outside of Cincinnati as they do virtual appointment as well. If you have any questions they are only an email or text away and always get back to you in a timely matter. I've been post op three months and Dr. Curry still checks on me which is one reason im so glad I choose them. Dr. Curry and his team truly care about his patients.

Dr. Curry and the staff at Journey Lite is absolutely fantastic. I had VSG August 25th of this year. The staff was kind and compassionate answered all of my questions. Dr. Curry answered any questions I had and was amazing. In recovery they stayed ahead of my pain and helped me to be able to go home. It has been 3 months and I have had an appointment with a nutritionist and nurse every month. Dr. Curry has reached out to me every month to see how I am. I hear so may horror stories of patients not having provider support after and Journey Lite makes sure that doesn't happen. If I have any questions or concerns between appointment all I have to do is call or text and within a few minutes someone gets back to me. I would recommend Journey Lite to anyone looking for bariatric surgery

Dr. Curry and his staff are very professional, attentive, knowledgeable, and kind. They stay right there with you every step of the way and continue to help make sure that you are successful in your weight loss journey. They give you all of the tools that you need starting before your pre-diet to be successful and stay successful. I cannot stress enough that this is the BEST place for your weight loss needs. I previously had a lap band from another doctor and it failed. I DID NOT receive the same coaching and tools there as I do with Dr. Curry and his staff at JOURNEYLITE! Dr. Curry removed the band and did the sleeve in one surgery and changed my life forever for the better. I will never be able to express how grateful I am to him and every one of his staff. As of today at 6 months out, I am down 98 pounds! I had to travel about 4 hours to get this surgery and I’d do it a hundred more times and never regret it. When I was still on the fence and still a bit scared, I told a friend of mine (she had her surgery done in Chicago by a different doctor) that I was thinking about going to JOURNEYLITE. She asked me the doctors name and I said Dr. Curry. I could hear the excitement she had for me when she said, is his first name Trace? I said I don’t know and I came back and said yes, Dr. Trace Curry. She said, girl I will kick you in your butt if you don’t go, he’s one of the best and highest rated doctors that there are for weight loss surgery. Thank you Chrissy for that knowledge and thank you Dr. Curry and all of your staff for giving me my life back. If you’re out there reading this and you’re on the fence, don’t be. I am soooo thankful that my insurance introduced me to this surgery center. They are so much more than just a surgery center. From the start of my journey I have had nothing but support and compassion from Journey Lite. When I officially started my weight loss journey I was 240 pounds (I am 5ft tall) I tried the shots those didn't work at all. Then I made the decision to go for the sleeve surgery. I know with any other place I wouldn't have gotten the care I did here. I am 3 months out and I am now 182 pounds. I get checked in with monthly by the actual DOCTOR (not something that happens ever) and I have check up appointments each month to check in with my progress and I get to speak with a dietician as well. I love the way they treat me and keep up with me and my progress. Journey Lite is the way to go! Choose them! Dr. Currey is the best. He was my surgen. Thank you!
