Brought my mom here for a Colonoscopy test on 2/10/2026. My mom received a phone call from the office on 2/9/2026 asking her to come between 7-7:30 instead of 11:30 on 2/10. We arrived at 7:20 am and receptionist told my mom that her appointment is at 11:30. My mom tried to tell her that someone called and asked her to come between 7-7:30 but she ignored her as if she was lying and did not look into the computer to verify this change. After sitting there until around 8:30 and witnessing other patients being called before her I went to the receptionist and asked why it was taking so long for her to be called back. Well she went to the back to ask why and came back to say give it approximately 30 more minutes and she will be called back as soon as a room opens. Well here we go again more patients being called back ahead of her. I’m steaming at this point. I went back to the receptionist desk to try to get a better understanding as to why she has not been called back. This time a girl name Jordan was sitting up there with her and the Doctor walked in while I was telling her that my mom received a call asking her to come between 7-7:30 and we had been sitting here since 7:20 which at this point it is already after 10:00 am. The Doctor told them to go ahead and work her in and the both of them just ignored him because 3 more patients were called back after this conversation. My mom got called back around 10:30. If I hadn’t taken off work and we hadn’t driven an hour from Kenansville to get there we would have walked the h… out. Just came back on to edit this review as we are still here at 1:45PM. I have never experienced anything like this before. On top of that it was freezing cold due to the heat not working at their office and no running water to use the bathroom. It was ridiculous. I was truly surprised at the service. I think some of the staff were in the training stage Thank God for Dr. Ibegbu coming arriving. He started my IV and did the job of the anesthetic. Another doctor performed my procedure. Next in order for me to get my results back from the procedure, I had to pay $94.00 copay to talk to a nurse for less than 10 minutes. She had very little knowledge of what the doctor wanted me to do next. She told me to Google it. What an experience.

I received a colonoscopy by Dr. Ibegbu. If you can find somewhere else to go, do it. I was called back but a bed was not ready. So I sat in the blood pressure room for approximately ten to fifteen minutes. I overheard other patients’ discussions that I thought was of a private nature. No confidentiality practiced. I witnessed patients in and out, like sheep for the slaughter. My biggest problem was not that my purse was temporarily misplaced (imagine that) but that the room I was placed in awaiting procedure trash can was “full”, not half way, of other patients’ waste. I took my flashlight and started looking all under the bed and at the equipment. I will say that it could have been cleaner. How much does a colonoscopy cost and you are awaiting in a room full of other patients’ waste? The anesthesiologist was as cold as cold can get, very stoic. I guess I would be too handling numerous patients. After my procedure in the post area, that trash can was also full of waste, gauges with blood, tubing, bed pads, etc. Dr. Ibegbu came out and talked to me for about one minute if that. He displayed no concern as a Doctor at all. He could have just hunched his shoulders and walked away. I will do my best to ensure I never have to patron this facility again, very uncaring and unhygienic! I would like to add in closing that other staff was professional and courteous.

I am very happy with the experience I had at AMG with Dr. lbegbu and his wonderful staff. I contacted the office after doing some research on the endoscopic bariatric revision. I was well informed about the procedure, the cost, and what to expect before and after. On the day of the procedure everyone was so friendly and informative. I was there about 3 hours, start to finish. I had no complications and very little pain. Someone from the office called to check on me the next day. I had my procedure done on 3/7/23 and have lost 30 pounds. I continue to lose 1-2 pounds every week. My nutritionist and my scale help keep me accountable. I am so happy I found Dr. Ibegbu. I highly recommend AMG, the wonderful staff, and the very personable Dr. Ibegbu.
