I WAS SUPPOSED TO HAVE KNEE REPLACEMENT SURGERY ON 1/12/26 YESTERDAY I RECEIVED A TEXT OF HOW MUCH MY INSURANCE WAS PAYING, WHAT PAYMENT I AM SUPPOSED TO BRING DAY OF SURGERY$5,000. (WHICH IS MY NEW DEDUCTIBLE.) I ASKED THE BILLING STAFF ABOUT A PAYMENT PLAN SHE SAID I CAN CUT THIS INTO THIRDS, (WITH OUT DOING INCOME ASSESMENT) I WILL NEED 1.917.00 AT DAY OF SURGERY AND SHE CAN SPLIT IT INTO 3 MONTHLY PAYMENTS. OF $1297.00 (SHE ACTED LIKE SHE WAS DOING ME A FAVOR) (NO ONE CAN COUGH OFF MONEY LIKE THAT UNLESS YOUR ARE WEALTHY. I FEEL BAD FOR FIXED INCOME PEOPLE THAT NEED THIS DRASTICALLY. SO, NEEDLESS TO SAY SURGERY AINT HAPPEN. THEY NEED BETTER OPTIONS AND I NEED BETTER INSURANCE APPARENTLY.
