Doctor ran 1.5 hours late, then arbitrarily cancelled my procedure. Nurse was the most angry and harsh personality that I have met in a long time. Do yourself a favor and find another endoscopy center.

I had my EGD and colonoscopy scheduled for nearly two months and had multiple conversations electronically with both my physician, Dr. Ciel Harris, and her staff over the course of that time. Upon my arrival to the address in the Atrium app, I was told to go to a different location because procedures aren’t done in the office. I relocated to the address provided by the administration staff. Upon my arrival at the revised location, the nurse at the front stated that I was no where in the system and that Dr. Harris left hours before and they didn’t know where she was. From there, I waited for an hour while Ivette - who was lovely, by the way - to find an alternative doctor to complete my procedure that I had prepped for for the previous 48 hours. Her solution worked, but caused me to need to relocate, yet again, to the Ballantyne location. The team there was wonderful and very helpful despite me being added to their system late. I will not be returning to Dr. Harris and I’m wholly disappointed in the Atrium system overall by their failure if scheduling my appointment incorrectly and causing so much additional stress at an already stressful time.

I had appt on the books for months. Was supposed to have endoscopy and colonoscopy. I did my prep show up and they said that they failed to get prior authorization and that insurance had not approved yet. Also they never even added my endoscopy even though the doctor put it in his notes to add. Unbelievably bad, no one reached out to reschedule since insurance wasnt approved and I stayed up all night doing the prep. 100% fail. No accountability whatsoever. Horrible place. Will be getting the procedure done somewhere else.

I recently had a procedure done at this facility and was quite impressed with all aspects of my interactions with the staff. Everyone was friendly, professional and kept me well informed about each step in the process. I wish I had some of the names to recognize them but unfortunately I do not. In any even thank you Dr. Spence and all of the staff that made my brief stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible.
