The people there know what they are doing. I, of course, was nervous about my 1st colonoscopy. The way they treat you Alleviates all concern right away. They are gentle and forgiving and all around very accommodating to every worry i had. And they didn't know I was struggling abit with Anxiety. I almost appreciated the experience, but Let's not forget what I was there for though. The worst part of the whole situation doesn't even involve them. It's the PREP the day before the procedure that sucks. Aweful, and I'm not looking forward to that part 3yrs from now when, i was told, that I have to be back for one again. The gallon sized drink does it's job regardless of the flavor, which is unappetizing to say the least. But once you get to the Sterling Surgical Center and until you leave, you would not believe how pleasant the staff and Doctors were able to treat ya while making you comfortable and feeling welcomed. Thanks Guys.😊
Billing review. I was overcharged for procedure almost a year ago. To this date I have yet to be refunded. My phone calls to Billing are not answered nor returned. Catholic Health says they can't help. Their out of state Billing has been unable to get the local Billing to cooperate. I have no complaints about the nurses or doctors and my procedures in the past have all gone well, I am looking for a doctor that does not use this facility due to their Billing.
I had my colonoscopy there last Friday and even though the prep was pretty awful my experience at Sterling Surgical was great! From check in to the end everyone there was so nice and caring and professional. Especially would like to thank the 3 surgical nurses who were fantastic and had to deal with my anxiety. Dr Diaz was very nice and also made me feel comfortable. I would recommend this facility and give it a 5 star rating. .
Yesterday was my third time at Sterling Surgical.. all three times I had a 5 star experience! From check in to discharge I found the staff absolutely professional and caring. To be honest I'm surprised by some of the one star negative reviews. Glad I didn't make any decision not to go to this facility based on them. I would highly recommend this facility to family and friend. Thank you for taking such good care of me Sterling!! Much appreciated!
My first couple times here were good, but the last time will be my last time going there! A nurse hit a nerve while trying to insert a needle for an IV. The problem wasn't with the nurse and what she did, but rather from the nurse manager and the facility director who failed to take responsibility other than to tell me after several phone calls to see my general practitioner. My doctor stated it would possibly take up to a year to heal and or feel right. A year and a half later and my thumb is still sensitive, numb, tingling and super sensitive to cold. After several conversations with attorneys I am no further along. They claim in order to prove it was caused by what the nurse did, it will cost a few thousand dollars and possibly not show responsibility on their part anyway. While the attorney states that I do have a case, he states that it wouldn't be worth me trying to sue them or go after them and in the end I am still dealing with the problems with my thumb and part of my hand due to this. So they have no responsibility and I will deal with this for the rest of my life! They told me they were closing my case because they didn't do anything wrong, but in fact it is not true. As soon as the nurse inserted the needle I could feel a sharp pain and almost like electrocution shoot through my arm from my fingertips to my shoulder. I told her I knew she had a nerve and she admitted that she did. I will never step foot in his place again and I will continue to tell everyone that I know how they acted and treated me
