Poorly organized. Clinician gave several ideas for symptom relief but none of them were generated in my visit summary. I explained that I have lost 9 lbs in the last 3 months and have daily nausea which prevents me from leading a normal life and isolates me socially. She recommended a medication that costs over 800 dollars a month (200 if I qualify for a program) and told me to come back in 3 months. I feel my concerns were not seriously addressed.Front office personnel were not present to check me in for 15 minutes after my arrival time.At check in I was handed an I pad to consent for the wrong patient. At check out I had to ask for reports the clinician said she put on discharge instructions. I do not have access to the patient portal and requested a PIN number. The front desk person told me I would receive an email with the PIN. I have not received the email. In the past I have attempted to call the office and never get an answer. Looks like I will have to go back to the office in person to request the PIN again. I need the info the clinician said would help with symptoms but omitted on my paperwork. I can not contact her with out access to the portal.
Received great care. Instructions were simple and easy to follow. Front staff was nice. Nursing staff made me feel comfortable. Doctor was really nice and I enjoyed that he came in and introduced himself. The whole process melted me feel at ease with the procedure.
Dr Atkinson was very professional. Instructions from the office were complete and easy to follow (though admittedly not much fun). The nursing staff was awesome as well. Highly recommend.
Having a procedure at the Endoscopy Center, was a very good experience. All the Nurses and Doctors were very pleasant, friendly, they made me feel welcome there. Most importantly their professionalism was displayed at every step of the way. Many, many Thanks to each of us hem that participated in my care. It was a time that I really appreciated their help and their efforts in providing everyone with excellent care. Thank you very much for everything. Ramiro Salvador.
Everyone at Endoscopy Center of Santa Fe was wonderful for my recent colonoscopy. I had not been looking forward to it, of course, but this team made the process painless. Julie, the nurse I spoke with for the appointment on the preceding Friday, was friendly and gave me important tips for the prep for the procedure. When I arrived that Monday morning, even the receptionist was helpful. The nurse, Bethany, was excellent, reviewing every detail of my health profile and explaining what was to come, hooked up the IV, and made the bed comfortable. Iris came in and continued the setup up, and had a wonderful sense of humor. Henry, the anesthesiologist, was very thorough and careful. Dr. Atkinson has the highest integrity, is personable, explains everything, and makes the operation pain-free and smooth. Afterward, Dr. Atkinson was happy to report that my outcome was good! No worries! Even if the results had been concerning, I feel confident that he would have been helpful with the next steps. Another nurse, Roseanna, had woken me up with a bright smile, checked my oxygen level and all other signs. She stayed with me long enough to be sure all was going well and, due to a little grogginess and possible oxygen fluctuation, waited to observe longer, until fully confident that all signs were stable. She then wheeled me out to the car for "my driver" (my husband) to take me home. >>What a fantastic team!
