From checking in to this surgery center with the ladies at the registrars office to all of the doctors and nurses, we are SO pleased with this center. Dr. Silva and the pediatric anesthesiologist (for the life of me i can not remember his name, but he was WONDERFUL) and the entire staff. My 3 year old had a procedure done and my husband and I were SO worried beforehand. After speaking to Dr. Silva and the anesthesiologist before the procedure, we were so relieved. Dr. Silva thoroughly went over what was going to be done and made sure we understood. Everyone there was great and we knew our son was in great hands. Dr. Silva addressed all of our concerns and made sure my boy would not have to come back for another potential procedure. Our boy came out great and we are so grateful for their care of our boy. The recovery nurse (who again, I cannot remember his name) was also wonderful, he was so attentive and helpful. The surgery center called 2 days later to make sure everything was going ok and I appreciate that call!
My 4yr old son had dental surgery worst experience ever he has had 2 other surgery in the past and all went well at other places this time was awful. I like the dentist dr Silva himself but am very unhappy with what was done. Are dentist sent us up there saying we had 4 cavities they capped 12 of my son's teeth.... he never complained about his teeth before and 4 days after my son has complained non stop about his teeth hurting. The capps are not all the way up the tooth on a couple of them. My son went in happy and healthy and left there sick and miserable. The male RN that treated us in recovery was awful and rude. The anesthesiologist was the only one I would give 5 stars he was polite and the only one that has called to check on my son since surgery. I really feel like because my son has medicade they did everything they could need or not just to charge the system. Never will we ever go back to Mountain View for anything!!!
The dentist, the anesthesiologist, and the nurses were all so kind to my autistic daughter, they gave her lots of stickers, didn't pressure her to talk to them or do anything she wasn't ready to do. Dr. Silva the dentist was for sure my favorite!! He even gave her board to draw on and were so patient with her. only took off one star due to the RN who was doing the discharge made me feel judged like something didn't feel right.
My kids dentist was great she did a great job! My main reason for the one star is that the RN after the procedure was so impatient and as the anesthesiologist kids scream and cry after they wake up as soon as my son woke up he want it to give me the instructions and discharge papers mind you my son was screaming and crying and I was holding him seemed like he was rushing so I got mad and told me would you give us a minute he then left and when he came back he made this sound of being annoyed I’m sorry but if you haven’t gone through that you can’t judge!
Not good with children, better off getting any kind of surgery including dental in El Paso! I literally go to EP for doctors. Not gentle, rushed even though we waited patiently since our arrival time which we were on time but some how went last. People who arrived after us went before us.Everyone else they took there time on but for some reason treated my kids like they were cattle. Well behaved they hadn't eaten since 10 pm the night before and wanted to blame me for intubating them as if I fed them after 12. Maybe keeping them waiting till 12 the next day and rushing your work on them caused them to vomit or whatever happened in the back that caused my children to have to both be intubated and their stomach pumped. They hadn't even had water!!! How funny how fast they had both of them out within the hour that they got sent back but yet the "one child before them" was there for 2 hours. My kids are not cattle just because I'm a single mother on Medicaid. That's not how you treat people!!! Services:10/23/23
