Endoscopy center of ocean county. Endoscopy completed good results! Dr glazier was fantastic. The whole team was efficient and professional. Facility was ok, little tight, but certainly acceptable, changing room very basic. Loved the professionalism in the group, as I lay on the exam bed, I was asked one more time my name, dob, and why I was there. In unison the team of probably 8 all said “I Agee”. Impressive, like a football team breaking the huddle.
I was impressed with everything start to finish. First, I was able to make an appointment with ease. Some doctors’ offices say, “ Our January calendar isn’t out yet. Please call back.” I hate that. I was able to make an appointment the first time I called. The doctor listened to my concerns and scheduled a colonoscopy right away. I like the prep she uses. It’s not that awful prescription stuff. The doctor uses Dulcolax and Miralax. The colonoscopy is scheduled in the same location as the doctor’s office. No need to go to a surgical center with 900 other people. The colonoscopy team was extremely organized and friendly. Also, the anesthesiologist was great. I didn’t get nauseous like I usually do. Overall, I’m 100% satisfied with my whole experience.
I absolutely loved my doctor and anesthesiologist and everyone that was in the room where the procedure was performed… but out in the waiting/prep room, a little disappointed. I was freezing and tried to call a nurse 3 times to no avail. A trash can was literally overflowing to the floor with iv tubing and used medical supplies. Finally a young tech girl heard me calling and I got one more cover, also disappointed the cover was cold, no blanket warmers I guess. I did work in a hospital, and had to keep my assigned rooms clean, so maybe those things would be nothing to someone else. But I also had to wait extra time bc person before me was taking longer, not a problem to me, but someone should have checked in on me and never did. I had to yell fairly loud to get attention to get the blanket, which was cold, and continued to gag at the trash can overflowing. But all in all, it was ok.
The office staff is very professional and kept me informed before and after the procedure. Dr Jill Collier is a warm professional person who explained the pre-procedure requirements. I have used her previous times and knew I would be in good hands with her.
I have been to this center on several occasions, however, this visit was the best ever. I was very pleased with the attention of the whole team given, empathy of the staff and Dr. Jill Collier’s was professional and attentive to my diagnosis. The whole department deserves 5 *****!
