My 3-year-old daughter had eye surgery on both eyes at Ramapo Valley Surgical Center three weeks ago, and I truly can’t say enough good things about our experience. Everyone we encountered—from the receptionist to the nurses, anesthesiologist, and surgeon—was incredibly helpful, kind, and professional. I’m truly sorry I can’t remember everyone’s names, but I will never forget how they made us feel. They went out of their way to help my daughter feel safe and comfortable, and they gave me so much reassurance.I couldn’t recommend this center more. They truly made what could have been a very stressful day into a very pleasant experience with their kindness, professionalism and attentiveness.

I had cataract surgery there on January 2nd. Everyone at the facility was exceptionally courteous and professional. I would especially like to acknowledge Mika, my pre- and post-surgery RN, who was extremely helpful and patient. This is the place where you want to go when you need cataract surgery!

Erica was very efficient and kind and explained everything to me. Lia took care of getting me prepared for my surgery with drops and the ivs etc. very comforting bedside manner. Didn’t see too much of Mana? Mica was very cordial for my post op, although my 2nd visit , Lia did that as well. Dr. Polluteri was a kind and welcome image. I could have sworn that he was Irish, but he smiled and let me know I would be in good hands. Besides the one hour wait, it was a very good experience. Thank you to all who work at the RVSC. GF

I recently had surgery at Ramapo Valley Surgical Center, and I can honestly say it was one of the most positive medical experiences I’ve ever had. From start to finish, every single person I encountered went above and beyond to make me feel cared for, supported, and completely at ease. First, I want to give my deepest thanks to Dr. Hainer, who performed my surgery. She was the only doctor who truly took the time to listen, dig deeper, and figure out my diagnosis when no one else could. Her expertise, compassion, and genuine dedication to helping her patients are extraordinary. I am beyond grateful for her care and for finally getting the treatment I needed. A huge thank-you to Dalina, who verified my benefits and worked so efficiently to schedule my surgery quickly. She made what could have been a stressful process completely seamless and stress-free. And to Vee, who called me prior to surgery to walk me through every instruction — your calm, caring tone and clear explanations made me feel so reassured and prepared for the day ahead. When I arrived, Erica, the receptionist, welcomed me with such warmth and kindness. Her smile immediately put me at ease. Nikki, my pre-op RN, was compassionate, attentive, and made sure I was completely comfortable before surgery began. In the OR, Mariya, my nurse, and Loralee, the tech, were incredible — professional, kind, and reassuring throughout the entire process. After surgery, Jen, my post-op RN, took amazing care of me. She was so gentle and kind, checking on me constantly and making sure I felt comfortable and informed. And a special thank-you to Dr. Pillitteri, my anesthesiologist, for your expertise and calm presence — you made what could have been an anxious experience feel so smooth and safe. Every single person I met at Ramapo Valley Surgical Center treated me not just as a patient, but as a person. Their teamwork, professionalism, and genuine compassion are something truly special. To Dr. Hainer, Dalina, Vee, Erica, Nikki, Mariya, Loralee, Jen, Dr. Pillitteri and for anyone i missed— thank you from the bottom of my heart for the care, kindness, and comfort you gave me. You each played a part in making this experience one I will always be grateful for.
